00 INTENT AND PURPOSE. 1.01 This Agreement is made and entered into by and between with respect to Government Contract Number HSBP1005C00770 contracted operation at the Customs and Border Protection Miami Air Branch, Homestead Air Base, Miami, Florida, hereinafter referred to as the "Company", L-3 Vertex Aerospace LLC, and the "Union", the International Association of Machinists and Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx, XXX-XXX, Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx 000. 1.02 It is the intent and purpose of the Company and the Union to set herein the entire Agreement with respect to wages, hours and working conditions as related to Government Contract Number HSBP1005C00770 covered by this Agreement. 1.03 It is recognized by this Agreement to be the duty of the Company, the Union and the employees to cooperate fully, both individually and collectively, to perform faithfully the obligations imposed by this Agreement, and the Union undertakes to cooperate with the Company in such a manner consistent with the provisions of this Agreement. 1.04 There shall be no discrimination by the Company or the Union against any employee because of race, sex, creed, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or other status protected by applicable federal, state or local law or regulations. 1.05 It is understood whenever in this Agreement employees or jobs are referred to in the male or female gender, it shall be recognized as referring to both males and females.

00 INTENT AND PURPOSE. 1.1 It is the intent and purpose of the Company and the Union to set forth herein the entire Agreement with respect to wages, hours, and working conditions as relates to the government contract covered by this Agreement. 1.2 It is the intent of the parties to provide for the efficiency of the operations and maximum production of the employees under methods, which further the safety of all affected parties, the efficiency and economy of operations and the continued employment under conditions of reasonable hours, compensation and working conditions as contained herein so that operations will be uninterrupted and duties faithfully performed in order for the Company and its employees to fulfill their mutual and vital responsibilities to both the public and to the Government with due regard to competitive conditions. 1.3 It is recognized by the Agreement to be the duty of the Company, the Union and the employees to cooperate fully, both individually and collectively, for the advancement of said conditions; and to provide a grievance procedure for the settlement of the employee's grievances to be settled in a timely manner; and to provide that there shall be no interruptions and/or impeding of operations during the term of this Agreement. 1.4 The Union recognizes that the Company is a contractor to the U.S. Navy contract and that the Company is required at all times to meet its contractual obligations. Nothing in this Agreement will prevent the Company from meeting its obligations and responsibilities as a Government contractor.   • Parties and Purpose This agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered by and between certain portfolios and classes thereof, specified below and in Schedule C, of Franklin Xxxxxxxxx Variable Insurance Products Trust, an open-end management investment company organized as a statutory trust under Delaware law (the “Trust”), Franklin/Xxxxxxxxx Distributors, Inc., a California corporation which is the principal underwriter for the Trust (the “Underwriter,” and together with the Trust, “we” or “us”), the insurance company identified on Schedule A (together “you”) and your distributor, on your own behalf and on behalf of each segregated asset account maintained by you that is listed on Schedule B, as that schedule may be amended from time to time (“Account” or “Accounts”). To the extent allowed by HIPAA, the GMCB seeks to make some of this data available as a resource for individuals and entities to continuously review health care utilization, expenditures, and performance in Vermont. The purpose of this Agreement is to specify the conditions under which the GMCB will release VHCURES data, and to ensure that the data is accessed, maintained, used, and disclosed in compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

  • Intent of Agreement 3.1 Execution of this Agreement is a representation that the Contractor has carefully examined the Contract Documents and the site, and represents that the Contractor shall become familiar with the nature and location of each Project, the Worksite, the specific conditions under which the Services are to be performed, and all matters which may in any way affect the Work or its performance. On all Drawings, figures take precedence over scaled dimensions. 3.4 Organization of the specifications into divisions, sections and articles, and the arrangement of Drawings shall not control the Contractor in dividing the Work among Subcontractors or in establishing the extent of Work to be performed by any trade. 3.5 Unless otherwise stated in the Contract Documents, words which have well-known technical or construction industry meanings are used in the Contract Documents in accordance with such recognized meanings. 3.6 In the event of any conflict between the Contract Documents or any ambiguity or missing specification or instruction, the following priority is hereby established: 3.6.1 Specific written direction from the City Manager or City Manager’s designee. 3.6.2 This Agreement.
