Acceptable Materials. Acceptable Bulk Waste materials shall include but is not limited to, oversize household Solid Waste (except white goods), furniture, mattresses, carpet, and incidental building materials (up to two cubic yards per Dwelling Unit per Collection) from household activities not requiring a building permit. Bulk Waste does not include automotive vehicles or boats, major vehicle components or liquid waste.

Acceptable Materials. Source Separated Recyclable Materials or Dual-Stream Source Separated Recyclable Materials (using a Split-Container for separating Non-Organic Recyclables from SSBCOW) Guidance: A Jurisdiction may allow plastic bags to be Collected in the Blue Container; and, SB 1383 Regulations do not place any requirements or limitations on the use of plastic bags in Blue Container Collection. Jurisdictions that allow plastic bags to be Collected in the Blue Container are not required by SB 1383 Regulations to obtain notice from the Approved/Designated Source Separated Recyclable Materials Processing Facility(ies) indicating that the Facility can Process and/or remove plastic bags when Processing Source Separated Recyclable Materials.

Acceptable Materials. All yard waste, bottles, cans, papers, plastic agricultural tubing, appliances, bedsprings, mattresses, textiles, scrap metals, tires, demolition materials (including dirt, rocks and broken concrete not over nine inches in diameter, boards and timbers not over eight feet in length and small tree stumps) and other bulky items may be deposited into designated open containers upon payment of appropriate gate fees established by this agreement. Putrescible waste may not be dumped into open containers except in emergencies.

Acceptable Materials. Franchised Recyclable Materials Additional Service: • Contractor shall provide each Single‐Family Subscriber with one Cart for Franchised Recyclable Materials and, upon request, shall provide additional Franchised Recyclable Materials Carts to Single‐Family Subscribers at a Rate not to exceed the Maximum Rate for the “Additional Recycling Cart”. • Contractor’s standard method of Collection shall be automated Collection; however, in certain parts of the Service Area considered Hard‐to‐Serve, Contractor may provide non‐automated Collection or other special Collection service not typical of the majority of the Service Area to accommodate those residents where terrain or geography interferes with regular automated Collection.
Acceptable Materials. Franchised Solid Waste Additional Service: • Contractor shall establish an “overages” program that allows Single‐ Family Subscribers to place additional Franchised Solid Waste contained in Subscriber‐provided bags Curbside, adjacent to the CCCSWA/Allied Waste Systems, Inc. 1029 Franchised Solid Waste Cart, on their regularly scheduled Collection 1030 day. Contractor may charge Subscribers a Rate not to exceed the 1031 Maximum Rate for “Solid Waste Overage.” 1032 • Contractor’s standard method of Collection shall be automated 1033 Collection; however, in certain parts of the Service Area considered 1034 Hard‐to‐Serve, Contractor may provide non‐automated Collection 1035 or other special Collection service not typical of the majority of the 1036 Service Area to accommodate those residents where terrain or 1037 geography interferes with regular automated Collection. 1038 B. This service shall be provided 1042 by Contractor at no charge to the Subscriber as the cost for Franchised Recyclable Materials 1043 Collection service shall be included in the Single‐Family Rate for Solid Waste Collection Service. 1044 Containers: Carts 1045 Container Sizes: Contractor shall offer 96‐gallon Carts as the standard Container size 1046 unless a different standard size is approved by the CCCSWA Executive 1047 Director; and shall provide 32‐ and 64‐gallon Carts to Subscribers upon 1048 Subscribers’ request 1049 Service Frequency: One (1) time per week on the same day as Franchised Solid Waste 1050 Collection 1051 Service Location: Curbside service shall be provided to all Single‐Family Subscribers 1052 (including Subscribers considered Hard‐to‐Serve). Acceptable Materials. Items that can be crushed or flattened save space in your container and in the recycling dumpsters. Please flatten boxes. Place recycling material inside the drop-off bin. Items left beside a recycling bin can become litter and may be considered illegal dumping. Items listed below are currently accepted through the recycling program. • Plastic – All plastic bottles #1 through #7 are accepted. Labels and caps do not need to be removed. Please rinse containers. • Glass – Clear, brown, green, and blue glass bottles and jars in which food products are packaged are accepted. Labels do not need to be removed. Please rinse containers. • Paper – Newspaper with ad slicks, magazines, phone books, brown grocery bags, frozen food boxes, junk mail, chip board, corrugated cardboard, and office paper are accepted. • Carton containers – Xxxxx-top contain- ers and paperboard containers contain- ing items such as milk, juice, fabric softener, egg substitute, soup, stock, or broth are accepted. Please rinse con- tainers. • Metal – Aluminum and bi-metal xxxxx- age cans, steel/tin food cans, aluminum foil, empty aerosol cans. Labels do not need to be removed. Please rinse con- tainers.
