Accrual of Sick Time. Represented full-time employees will earn sick time based on actual hours worked, up to eight (8) hours per month of paid sick time. Sick leave will not be accrued for overtime worked. Part- time represented employees receive sick time prorated as a percentage of actual hours worked, up to 8 hours per month of paid sick time. Accumulated sick time may be used during the initial and promotional trial periods.

Accrual of Sick Time. Bargaining unit members will earn sick time based on actual hours worked, up to 104 hours per year, at a rate of .0524 per hour worked. The maximum accrual allotment for sick time hours is 140 hours. Sick time is not subject to being paid out under any circumstance, including but not limited to a bargaining unit member’s resignation or separation, or transfer into a non-benefit eligible position. Part-time bargaining unit members receive sick time prorated based on actual hours worked. Part-time bargaining unit member will accrue .0524 hours of paid sick time per hour worked. Accumulated sick time may be used during the initial and internal hire trial periods.

  • Accrual of Sick Leave a. A full-time employee shall accrue four (4) hours of sick leave for each biweekly pay period, or the number of hours that are directly proportionate to the number of days worked during less than a full-pay period, without limitation as to the total number of hours that may be accrued.

  • Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
