Annual Leave Entitlement - General. In each four week period an employee accrues an amount of annual leave equal to 1/13th of the employee's ordinary hours worked in that four week period. For full time employees this is equivalent of 4 weeks per year.

Annual Leave Entitlement - General. 28.1.1 A period of 28 consecutive days leave will be allowed annually to an employee after 12 months continuous service.
Annual Leave Entitlement - General. Annual leave will be in accordance with the NES. As a guide, this means that an employee (other than a casual employee) shall accrue 4 weeks’ annual leave after each 12 months of continuous service. Annual leave shall accrue progressively and accumulates from year to year. A shiftworker for the purposes of the NES under the Agreement is defined as a seven- day shiftworker who regularly works Sundays and Public Holidays and is entitled to accrue 1 week of additional annual leave based on 12 months of continuous service. Annual leave may be taken at a time agreed to by the Employer. The Employer shall not unreasonably refuse a request by an Employee to take paid annual leave. An Employee, by agreement with the Employer, may take paid annual leave before the Employee has accrued the right to that leave. Where annual leave is taken in advance, the employee shall not become entitled to any further leave or leave payment for that period of annual leave.

  • Vacations; Leave The Employee shall be entitled to annual paid vacation in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors for executive employees and to voluntary leave of absence, with or without pay, from time to time at such times and upon such conditions as the Board of Directors may determine in its discretion.

  • Long-Term Disability Insurance 250. The City, at its own cost, shall provide to employees a Long Term Disability (LTD) benefit that provides, after a one hundred and eighty (180) day elimination period, sixty percent salary (60%) (subject to integration) up to age sixty-five (65). Employees who are receiving or who are eligible to receive LTD shall be eligible to participate in the City's Catastrophic Illness Program as set forth in the ordinance governing such program.

  • Minimum Benefits If the Termination Date occurs during the Employment Period for any reason, Executive shall be entitled to the Minimum Benefits, in addition to any other benefits to which Executive may be entitled under the following provisions of this Section 4 or the express terms of any employee benefit plan or as required by law. Any benefits to be provided to Executive pursuant to this Section 4(a) shall be provided within 30 days after the Termination Date; provided, however, that any benefits, incentives or awards payable as described in Section 4(f) shall be provided in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan, program or arrangement. Except as may expressly be provided to the contrary in this Agreement, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as requiring Executive to be treated as employed by the Company or any Affiliate following the Termination Date for purposes of any plan, program, or arrangement.
