Bakersfield College. Bakersfield College is one of the nation's oldest continually operating California community colleges. The college serves 33,000 students annually in central California. Bakersfield College has been a leader implementing Guided Pathways in California and has championed Program Pathways Mapper as a student informational tool to better prepare students within a guided pathways framework. Bakersfield College shall maintain a relationship with software development vendor, Concentric Sky, who will act as Program Mapper’s developer and would continue with maintenance and support of Program Mapper, resolve technical issues, and provide some limited product enhancements at the direction of the Bakersfield College.

The college serves approximately 39,000 students annually on the 153-acre main campus in northeast Bakersfield, at the Delano Campus 35 miles north of Bakersfield, the Weill Institute in downtown Bakersfield, and BC SouthWest in southwest Bakersfield. These include: ▪ 21st Century Energy Center training programs ▪ AB540 Student Support Program ▪ Admission and Records office ▪ Apprenticeship Program ▪ Career Services Center ▪ Child Development Center (assistance w/childcare provision) ▪ Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS) program ▪ Financial Aid office ▪ Outreach and School Relations ▪ Renegade Nexus (Basic Needs Center) ▪ Student Health and Wellness Center ▪ TRIO Student Support Services program In addition to District and College resources, Xxxx CCD Community Partners -- such as members of the Xxxx Adult Education Consortium2 (KAEC), Kern County Employers’ Training Resource (ETR)3, and The Open Door Network4 -- will also contribute to the success of the program by providing support services, additional training, and referrals of participants to and from the program.
