Biweekly Accrual. Vacation time is earned on a biweekly pay period by pay period basis. An employee must be in paid status to earn vacation accrual. Employees on an unpaid leave status for a period of more than five (5) working days, on long term disability not paid as payroll earnings or beginning/ending City employment during a period of less than a full pay period do not earn vacation accrual for that biweekly pay period.

Biweekly Accrual. Rates Vacation leave shall accrue to any such employee at the rate of 4.62 hours each biweekly pay period for those entitled to one-hundred and twenty (120) hours of vacation leave per year; 7.38 hours each biweekly pay period for those entitled to one hundred and ninety-two (192) hours of vacation leave per year; 10.154 hours each biweekly pay period for those entitled to two hundred and sixty-four (264) hours of vacation leave per year; 12.0 hours each biweekly pay period for those entitled to three-hundred and twelve (312) hours of vacation leave per year.
Biweekly Accrual. Every continuing full-time regular employee shall be entitled to annual leave with pay of five and a half (5.5) hours for each completed biweekly pay period, prorated based upon hours worked in the current pay period.

  • Vacation Accrual Regular employees shall accrue hours of vacation with pay for each hour of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per biweekly work period according to the following schedule, commencing with the employee's hire date of his latest period of County employment.

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year. (b) Notwithstanding the above, the Employer may grant a special request from an employee to carryover a maximum of five (5) vacation days into the next year.   • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.

  • Time Off The company recognises that sufficient time off to attend to personal matters and for recreation are important to the employee’s wellbeing, job satisfaction and overall productivity. Accordingly, time off may be taken with the consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. In considering the approval to have time off, the Parties will have regard to the current works programme and the urgency of the reason for time off. In the event that time off is to be taken, it will be the employee’s obligation to advise the Company in advance or as soon as practicable on the day of absence, recognising that unplanned absences can cause costly disruption to programmed works and are a major source of annoyance for the company, other employees and clients. The object of offering flexible working hours is that in return employees will take very seriously their obligation to turn up when they are expected. In view of the disruption caused by unplanned and or notified absenteeism, repeated failure to observe the protocol for time off would constitute misconduct.

  • Paydays (a) Paydays will remain the current practice unless otherwise negotiated between the parties. (b) A comprehensive statement detailing all payments, allowances and deductions will be provided each pay period. The Employer will advise employees in writing on a monthly basis their vacation, sick leave, lieu time and overtime banks. (c) The distribution of paycheques will be done in such a manner that the details of the paycheque will be confidential.

  • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.
