Leave Status. An employee who is granted a paid leave of absence shall not be eligible for any other paid leave(s) provided by this Article during the period of such approved leave unless the employee presents supporting evidence acceptable to the District.

Leave Status. If an employee refuses to go on a leave status or refuses to request paid or unpaid leave, the Employer may place the employee on an unpaid leave or disability separation. Such leave shall continue for a period of two (2) years unless the employee is certified as being able to return to work by a physician of the employee’s choice. If the employee is not able to return to work by the end of that two (2) year period, he or she shall be deemed permanently separated from employment with the Employer.
Leave Status. Bargaining unit members who are in job sharing positions shall be considered on leave status for that portion of their assignment that is not full-time. Participants shall not lose full-time tenure or seniority status they have accumulated in the District.
