Camps / Living Away Arrangements. Employees who take Clients on camps or excursions which involve overnight absences will be paid as follows: Level 1 Step 1 Weekend Trips Guaranteed payment of $239.00 for the first 24 hours. Followed by an hourly rate of $13.25 per hour. Long Weekends Guaranteed payment of $478.00 for the first 48 hours. Followed by an hourly rate of $13.25 per hour. Week Holidays (Mon – Fri) Guaranteed payment of $163.00 per day for the first 96 hours. Followed by an hourly rate of $9.01 per hour. The above rates are inclusive of First Aid Allowance Workers providing support in Clause 18.7 will have to incur the expense of purchasing their lunch only. All other expenses, eg entrance fees, plane fares, breakfast and dinner costs, etc. will be covered. SUPPORT WORKER-IN-CHARGE The Support Worker-in-Charge will receive an additional $2.00 per active hour to his/her rate of pay.

When the temperature approaches 35 degrees C, the consultative process outlined in sub-clause 24.1.4 of the VBIA shall occur, with an intention that employees may leave site if the temperature actually reaches 35 degrees C. If the temperature reaches 35 degrees C, the task or activity being performed will be completed before work is to cease and the penalty provisions as for emergency work under the NBCIA shall apply. By agreement with the OH&S committee and head contractor during periods of inclement weather (heat) the Saturday break roster can be applied for weekday work.

  • SALARY SACRIFICE ARRANGEMENTS 34.1 Employees covered by this Agreement will have access to salary sacrifice arrangements in addition to the compulsory arrangement detailed above. The requirements of any such arrangements shall ensure that:
