Cancellation Pay. If a Nurse’s scheduled tour is cancelled with less than fifteen (15) hours’ notice prior to the starting time of their scheduled tour, they shall receive four (4) hours pay at their regular straight hourly rate. The cancellation notice will be placed on the Nurse’s voicemail.
Cancellation Pay. Failure to provide eight (8) hours’ personal notice of cancellation of a scheduled shift shall result in premium payment for one-half of the next shift worked.
Cancellation Pay. If a driver is not notified of a scheduled trip being canceled at least one (1) hour prior to pick up time, they shall receive two (2) hours of pay.

In the event the Hospital does not give or attempt by telephone to give one (1) hour notice of cancellation required by Section 1 of this Article, the employee shall be paid two (2) hours of “cancellation pay” at the employee’s base hourly rate of pay. In order to be eligible for “cancellation pay,” the employee must provide the Hospital a telephone number where they can be reached at least one (1) hour prior to the beginning of the shift. Failure of the employee to be available to receive such a telephone call shall result in denial of such “cancellation pay.” The Hospital log will be used to determine whether the Hospital attempted to contact the employee by telephone to provide the one-hour notice.

If the forty-eight (48) hours notice of cancellation is not provided, then the CCAC will pay the employee for all wages that would have been earned for the work that was cancelled. However, if any portion of the hours fall outside the forty-eight (48)-hour period, then there will be no further cancellation pay for those hours.

A Flight Attendant, excluding a Flight Attendant on reserve, who reports for duty as scheduled and does not fly as scheduled because of a cancellation will be credited with 100% of the greater of the flight time of the originally-scheduled flight(s) or the flight time of any reassigned flight(s) that are scheduled to depart during the originally-scheduled duty period. A Flight Attendant whose scheduled flight(s) are cancelled may be reassigned to other flight duty, be required to remain airport available for a subsequent assignment, be returned to her/his original schedule, or be released from duty. "
Cancellation Pay. If a nurse’s scheduled shift is canceled with less than twelve (12) hours notice prior to the starting time of her scheduled shift, she shall receive four (4) hours pay at her regular straight time hourly rate. The cancellation notice will be given personally to the employee where possible, but where the employee cannot be contacted, the notice will be place on voice mail where technology and capacity permits.
