Insurance covers any accidental damage, parts failure, fire, flood or natural disaster to the device and case as well as lost/stolen device protection with a deductible & filed police report (within 10 days of the incident). Note: Accessories such as chargers, styluses, cases, etc are NOT covered by insurance.

Chromebook Insurance.  Muncie Community Schools’ families have the option to purchase insurance through the school as part of the Chromebook 1:1 program. All families are encouraged to participate in the insurance option but are not required. Families who do not purchase insurance are responsible for the full replacement cost of the Chromebook.

The participation cost for those choosing to purchase the District Insurance Plan is $30 per student device per school year. The Insurance Plan has a family maximum cap of $100 based upon the enrollment of more than three students for families with multiple students. Payment is due at the time of checkout. Student Chromebook Checkout Agreement must be completed prior to checking out a device.   • Umbrella Insurance During the term of this Contract, Supplier will maintain umbrella coverage over Employer’s Liability, Commercial General Liability, and Commercial Automobile. Minimum Limits: $2,000,000

  • Travel Insurance The Employer shall provide and pay the full cost for travel insurance to cover all members of the bargaining unit for all modes of travel, in the amount of $200,000.00. The travel insurance policy shall also cover employees while on union business.

  • Group Insurance All employees covered by this Agreement shall receive the same group insurance benefits as provided to other County employees in accordance with the County Benefit Program.
