TOOL INSURANCE. The company at its own expense shall insure for damage or loss caused by fire, or flood, the tools of its employees which are required in the performance of their work. This provision for tool insurance shall also apply to loss by theft where the tools are stored in a designated place of safety within the control of the Company and there is forcible breaking and entering. The insurance coverage provided shall be subject to a deductible of fifty dollars ($50.00) in respect of each employee’s claim.
TOOL INSURANCE. The Company shall provide, at its expense, tool insurance coverage to each eligible Journeyman and Apprentice. Such coverage shall pay the cost of replacing an employee's tools, tool for tool, at no cost to the employee. Each employee will provide a brand name inventory of his tools on each anniversary date of the Agreement on a form supplied by the Company to be eligible for tool insurance. Such tool insurance shall include coverage on an employee's tool box.
TOOL INSURANCE. The Company will reimburse employees for tools lost with a minimum of Two hundred dollars ($200.00) and no maximum on any one loss. The exact amount will be based on the evaluation of a claim by insurance adjusters, based on an employee tool list that is on file. Theft must show forced entry on a locked vehicle, or non negligence in transit, or loss on the company premises or rental vehicles. (Fire and Theft). The Company agrees to repair or replace, if necessary, employee owned impact tools.
TOOL INSURANCE. All employees are guaranteed that while employed on the job site, project or place of business of the Employer, the employees' tools will be insured as per cost of replacement. The insurance covers fire and burglary or loss when working over water or such other areas where tools cannot be retrieved. In the event of loss, the Employer agrees to replace the tools. When commencing employment, the employee shall submit to the Superintendent or their representative an inventory of the tools brought on the job. The inventory list shall be signed by the Employer's representative and the employee. Coverage will commence at the date of the filing of the inventory with the Employer. The employee shall ensure that the inventory is current. An affidavit may be requested by the Employer from the employee claiming the loss.
TOOL INSURANCE. The Employer will provide Tool Insurance to tradespersons and apprentices on the following basis: To qualify for insurance reimbursement, the employee must provide a list of tools kept on the premises. The maximum reimbursement will be $18,000.00 and any reimbursement is subject to a deductible amount of $500.00. The payment of the deductible shall be the responsibility of the employees.
TOOL INSURANCE. The Employer will provide up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000) of tool insurance for Facilities Maintenance employees in case of tool loss due to fire, earth movement or water damage, or by a reported theft by forcible entry. Coverage for damaged or stolen toolboxes shall be determined on a case- by-case basis. Employees must file a complete tool inventory and pictures of the toolbox with the Facilities Maintenance Manager. In order to be eligible to file a claim under the provisions of this section, the inventory must have been filed prior to the incident giving rise to the claim.
TOOL INSURANCE. In case of fire or proven theft, verified by police investigation, insurance coverage will be provided for an approved list of tools which is supplied prior to the loss.
