Lost or Stolen Devices. If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen and you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Find My iPhone to attempt to suspend the ability to transact with the virtual Supported Cards or sending person to person payments on that device by putting it into Lost Mode. If your Apple Watch is in Lost Mode, your car key may be disabled in Wallet and you will no longer be able to access or start your car once you have left the vehicle or turned off the engine. Lost mode only affects keys on the lost device. If you are the owner, you will no longer be able to share your car key or home key with others, but keys that have already been shared with others will not be impacted from their Apple devices. You can also erase your device, which will attempt to suspend the ability to transact with the virtual Supported Cards or send person to person payments on the device. You should also contact the issuer, merchant, or other responsible third party of your Supported Cards, or Apple in the case of your Apple Card or Apple Cash card, in order to prevent unauthorized access to your Supported Cards on Apple Pay and in Wallet. If you report or Apple suspects fraudulent or abusive activity, you agree to cooperate with Apple in any investigation and to use any fraud prevention measures we prescribe.

Lost or Stolen Devices. If your wireless device is lost or stolen, call us immediately at 0-000-000-0000. You are responsible for all charges incurred before you notify us of the loss or theft. You agree to cooperate with any and all investigations regarding the loss or theft.
Lost or Stolen Devices. If stolen, a police report must be filed and provided to the school, the resource officer, and media center. Action will be taken by the District to track missing/stolen devices and appropriate consequences outlined in the Student Code of Conduct will be administered. BHCS may utilize a Mobile Device Management software (MDM) to manage all devices in the District. Lost or stolen device during school hours MUST be reported to the school administrator, or school resource officer immediately. If a device is lost or stolen at any time outside of school, parents should take the following steps:

Multiple offenses will result in disciplinary action as detailed in the Student Code of Conduct. Personal Health & Safety Avoid extended use of the device while resting directly on your lap. The bottom of the device can generate significant heat. Take frequent breaks when using the device for long periods of time. Look away from the device screen approximately every 15-20 minutes. Do not use the device during lunch breaks. Do not provide your personal information to anyone over the Internet. Do not share your passwords with anyone. Parent/ Guardian Responsibilities Talk to your children about values and the standards that should be followed on the use of the Internet just as you do on the use of all media information sources such as television, telephones, movies, and radio. Ensure that you receive all necessary information and sign the relevant forms for Acceptable Usage and Data Protection. Ensure your child is not engaging is any inappropriate behavior, as outlined in this agreement or by any local, state, or federal law, with their device at home. Return all TCPS issued equipment when requested by the school. School Responsibilities Provide Internet access at school. Provide an academic email account (e.g. xxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx) to its students. Provide Internet blocking of inappropriate materials as able while using the Tazewell County Public Schools network. Provide staff guidance to aid students in doing research, academically related activities and how to ensure student compliance of the acceptable usage agreement. Lost or Stolen Devices. In the event that the Device is lost, the student will be responsible for the cost of replacing the Device. In the event that the Device is stolen, the student will be required to provide Lincoln Lutheran with a copy of the police report and the Device will be replaced by Lincoln Lutheran’s insurance. The student remains responsible for the $50.00 deductible.

Lost or Stolen Devices. If a device is lost or stolen, a student or parent must report it to the school immediately. The circumstances of each situation involving lost or stolen equipment will be investigated individually. Students/families may be billed for the lost equipment. If a device is stolen, a police report must be filed and a copy of the report must be provided to the school by the student or parent in a timely manner. If there is not clear evidence of theft, or the equipment has been lost due to student negligence, the student and parent will be responsible for the full cost of replacing the missing item(s).
