CO-CURRICULAR COMMITTEE. The membership of the Co-curricular Committee shall be composed of two (2) members of the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools, or designee, three (3) Administrators, and seven (7) Teachers (chosen by the Executive Committee of the Association). The Committee will meet at least annually. The Association will be able to call a meeting of the Committee if the request is submitted to the Superintendent by January 31. It will be chaired by the Superintendent or designee. The Committee cannot conduct a meeting/business unless a quorum of more than fifty (50) percent of the membership is present and at least one member from Administration, the Board, and the Teaching Staff is in attendance. When items are to be added/changed/deleted a vote will be taken. A majority of more than fifty (50) percent of the voting members present is needed for passage of any item. The Committee is delegated the responsibility of recommending to the Board the creation of new supplemental positions and assigning the newly created supplemental position an index value, adjustments in the index values of current supplemental positions, and deleting supplemental positions from the Master Agreement as the need arises. The Committee is delegated no other responsibility other than making the recommendations set forth in this paragraph. Recommendations made by the Committee pursuant to the preceding paragraph will be forwarded to the President of the Board, and the President of Association. These recommendations are to be considered and accepted, rejected, or modified by the Board at its next regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting. Efforts shall be made to fill co-curricular positions with certificated/licensed staff members first if the Board chooses not to renew the contract of a non-certificated/licensed staff member who previously held such position in accordance with Ohio law. Job descriptions for all positions on the Co-curricular Salary Schedule will be published by the Board of Education and distributed to the applicant/employee upon request.

CO-CURRICULAR COMMITTEE. A committee not to exceed eight (8) in number shall be created, one-half (1/2) appointed by the Board and one-half (1/2) appointed by the Union, to consider all classifications to determine if any change is recommended. Any recommendations for change shall be submitted to the Board on or before February 15 of each year. Each recommendation submitted to the Board shall include a rationale for the recommendation and shall be clearly prioritized in comparison to all recommendations submitted.

  • Calendar Committee ‌ During the fall semester each year the District shall establish a Calendar Committee. ECCE shall be entitled to appoint two voting members as its representatives on the committee.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.

  • Joint Job Evaluation Committee The parties entered into agreement December 17, 1992, to ensure the Joint Gender- Neutral Job Evaluation Plan remains current and operational and to that end endorsed the Joint Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation Maintenance Agreement. The parties agree that a guiding principle for the Committee is that there shall be no discrimination between male and female employees wherein a person of one sex is paid more than a person of the other sex for similar or substantially similar work.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • The Joint Committee 1. A Joint Committee is hereby established in which each Contracting Party shall be represented.

  • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

  • Joint Committee 1. The Contracting Parties shall establish a Joint Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) with a view to accomplishing the objectives of this Agreement. The functions of the Committee shall be:

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.
