COFFEE AND LUNCH BREAKS. 10.01 The employee shall be allowed to have two (2) coffee breaks of no longer than fifteen (15) minutes, once during each half of his respective working day. Employees will be allowed one half (1/2) hour lunch break between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m., except these limits may be suspended during periods of emergency.

COFFEE AND LUNCH BREAKS. 14.01 Employees will be allowed one (1) coffee break of ten (10) minutes in each half of the working shift. 14.02 All employees shall be provided one-half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch break. The regular lunch break shall be taken between 11:30 a. m. and 1:00 p.m. Employees engaged in cement finishing work shall take their lunch break at a time least disruptive to the Employer’s operations. It is understood that, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, no employee shall be required to work more than five (5) consecutive hours without a lunch break.

COFFEE AND LUNCH BREAKS. 15.01 Coffee or work breaks will be recognized on all projects during work hours. There will be one (1) break in the first half and another in the second half of each shift. The time of these breaks will be determined by the project superintendent or job xxxxxxx, and shall be of not less than ten (10) minutes duration. A man shall be designated by the Employer to order and deliver coffees to the work floor area. 15.02 Regular day shift employees shall be allowed a one half-hour lunch break between 12 noon and 1:00 p.m., except where different hours are being worked on a two or three shift operation. COFFEE AND LUNCH BREAKS. Section 1. All employees working a shift of at least five (5) hours shall be provided a minimum thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch period whenever possible. The lunch period shall be scheduled at the middle of the shift whenever possible. If it is not possible to give the employee an unpaid lunch period, the employee shall be given the opportunity to eat in their work area during a paid lunch period. Section 2. Lift Operators will be provided one (1) fifteen (15) minute paid rest period during each four (4) hour shift. Lift Operators will be provided with reasonable bathroom facilities which will be available for their use during their paid rest periods. These rest periods will be scheduled at the discretion of the supervisor or at the request of the employee with the supervisor’s permission.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Flextime ‌ (a) For the purpose of this agreement, flextime means the hours worked by an employee, or group of employees, who are given authority by the Employer to: (1) choose their starting and finishing times; and (2) choose their length of workday within a stated maximum number of hours, subject to meeting the required annual hours of work in accordance with this agreement, through a specified averaging period. (b) The full-time employee on flextime who has a day of absence, whether with or without pay, will be deemed to be absent for the agreed upon hours, providing at least the agreed upon hours are required to complete the averaging period. If less than the agreed upon hours are required to complete the averaging period, such number of hours will be deemed to be the hours of absence. (c) The averaging period for employees on flextime will be two pay periods. (d) The workday for those employees on flextime will not exceed 10 hours.

  • Work Breaks Meal breaks 36.1 There will be a cessation of work and of working time, for the purpose of a meal on each day, of not less than thirty (30) minutes, to be taken between 11.00am and 1.00pm. Such period will be unpaid. 36.2 Where, because of the area or location of a project, the majority of on-site employees on the project request, and agreement is reached, the period of the meal break may be lengthened to not more than forty-five (45) minutes with a consequential adjustment to the daily time of cessation of work. Working during meal break 36.3 If the employer requires an employee to work through the employee’s normal meal break the employee will be paid at the rate of double time until the employee is allowed to take such break. 36.4 Where the meal break is shortened by agreement, the employer will pay for the period by which the meal break is shortened, which will then form part of ordinary time hours. Daily rest breaks 36.5 There will be allowed, without deduction of pay, a rest period of ten (10) minutes, between 9.00am and 11.00am. The times provides in clauses 36.1 and 36.5 are indicative only and subject to the reasonable operational requirements of the employer.

  • Services Term Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Service that you order will start at the earlier of (a) your first use of the Service, (b) the date you purchased the Service, or (c) the start date contained in the Order Form, and, in each case, will end at the expiration of the Services Term unless sooner terminated as set forth below. Subscriptions automatically renew for successive terms of the same duration as the original Services Term, unless either party gives written notice to the other party of its intention not to renew at least thirty (30) days before the expiration of the applicable Services Term. Any Services that you order must be consumed during the applicable Services Term and any unused Services will expire.
