College of Teachers. The Board shall deduct from Teachers in equal installments between September and December inclusive, the fee payable to the College of Teachers. Such fee shall be paid to the College of Teachers by the Board in January of each year for each teacher in the employ of the Board, or at such other time as the College of Teachers may prescribe.
College of Teachers. If a teacher is the subject of an investigation by the College of Teachers, no action will be taken upon said teacher by the Board, without prior investigation by the Board.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend the Collective Agreement.

  • PROTECTION OF TEACHERS A. The Board recognizes its responsibility to give all reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom.

  • New Teacher Orientation The Association shall have the opportunity to participate in the opening in-service day including speakers for the sole purpose of greeting new faculty members and informing them of the opportunities available to them through joining their professional association.

  • MANAGEMENT GRIEVANCES 14.01 It is understood that the Management may bring forward at any meeting held with the Union Representative any complaint with respect to the conduct of the Union, or Stewards, and that if such complaint by Management is not settled to the mutual satisfaction of the conferring Parties, it may be treated as a grievance and referred to arbitration in the same way as the grievance of any employee.
