Commitment to Consultation. The parties to this agreement recognise that for the agreement to be successful, the initiatives contained within this agreement need to be implemented through an open and consultative process. The parties to this agreement are committed to involving employees and their union representatives in the decision-making processes affecting the workforce. Employees will be encouraged to participate in the consultation processes by allowing adequate time to understand, analyse, seek appropriate advice from their union and respond to such information. Consultation requires the exchange of timely information relevant to the issues at hand, and a genuine desire for the consideration of each party’s views, before making a final decision.

This includes involving employees and their union representatives in the decision-making processes affecting the nursing and midwifery workforce. 19.2. Employees will be encouraged to participate in the consultation processes by allowing adequate time to understand, analyse, seek appropriate advice from their union and respond to such information. 19.3. Consultation requires the exchange of timely information relevant to the issues at hand, and a genuine desire for the consideration of each party’s views, before making a final decision. 19.4. Organisational change - All significant organisational change and/or restructuring that will impact on the workforce (eg job reductions, deployment to new locations, major alterations to current service delivery arrangements) will be subject to the employer establishing such benefits in a business case which will be tabled for the purposes of consultation at the NaMCF. A business case is not required for minor changes or minor restructuring.

(b) The Parties recognise that for the Agreement to be successful, the initiatives contained within this Agreement need to be implemented through an open and consultative process. (c) Xxxxx is committed to involving VMOs and the AMAQ in processes affecting VMOs. VMOs will be encouraged to participate in the consultation processes through Mater’s commitment to allowing adequate time to understand, analyse, seek appropriate advice from AMAQ and respond to such information. (d) Consultation requires the exchange of timely information relevant to the issues at hand, and a genuine desire for the consideration of each party’s views.

A safe workplace is more easily achieved when everyone involved in the work communicates with each other to identify hazards and risks, talks about any health and safety concerns and works together to find solutions. By drawing on the knowledge and experience of workers, more informed decisions can be made about how to carry out work carried out safely. 1.10.3.2 The Company commits to communicate and consult with employees and HSRs about any matters which affect, or are likely to affect, the health and safety of employees. 1.10.3.3 Consultation will include sharing with the employees and HSRs information about the health and safety matters; giving the employees a reasonable opportunity to express their views; and taking into account those views. Consultation will occur at each stage of the risk management process.
