Company-Union Meetings. (I) The Union Bargaining Committee and the Company Labour Relations Committee shall meet within four working days when there is business which requires their joint consideration. Necessity for a meeting may be indicated by a letter from either party to the other party containing a specific agenda for the subject or subjects for discussion. Company-Union Meetings. 30.1 Quarterly joint labor-management meetings may, at the parties’ option, be regularly scheduled for the purposes of improving communications and promoting harmony and cooperation between Company and Union through discussions of matters of policy and operation which are of mutual interest. The Union may select a reasonable number of its members to attend the meetings. The attendance of Union members at these meetings shall not affect the orderly operation of the Plants.
Company-Union Meetings. (a) Every effort will be made by the Company and the Union to negotiate matters pertaining to this Agreement and grievances so as not to interfere with the normal work hours of the employees attending such meetings. When it becomes necessary for an employee to lose time from their work because of such meetings, there shall be no deduction in pay for loss of time for their normal regular hours.
Company-Union Meetings. 25.1 The Company and the Union will hold regular monthly Company/Union meetings. Either party may postpone such meetings by giving written notice two days in advance of a regularly scheduled meeting.
Company-Union Meetings. On request by either party, the Employee Relations Department and Union President, or their designate, will meet for the purpose of discussing the effects of any technological change. Further meetings will be held, as far in advance as practical of the time the technological change is to take place, for the purpose of implementing the specific application of this Article. At all meetings, meaningful discussions shall be held to resolve issues arising from the effects or implementation of technological change.
Company-Union Meetings. After notification of the proposed technological change, the Company and Union representatives will meet at a mutually agreed time for the purpose of discussing the probable effects of the technological change on the employees involved. Other meetings if necessary will be held with the minimum delay prior to commencing the technological change to review the specific application of this programme for employees who may be eligible for assistance benefits.
Company-Union Meetings. It is understood that the Company may bring forward at any meeting held with the Grievance Committee any complaint or grievance with respect to the conduct of the officers, committee-men or respect to the conduct of the employees generally, and that if such complaint or grievance is not settled to the mutual satisfaction of the it may be referred to arbitration in the same way as that of an employee. During the first three ( 3 ) months of the term of this Agreement, meetings of the Union Committee with Management shall be held whenever the above committee submits an agenda of the business to be transacted, and gives forty-eight (48) hours notice of the meeting. After the first three (3) months meetings will be held regularly at scheduled times, of course, that the parties may mutually agree to hold a special meeting at any time. Minutes of such meetings will be kept by the Company and copies furnished to the Union Office in Windsor, The Union Committee will consist of the five committee members plus the Unit Chairpersons as outlined in and of this Agreement. All formal Union and Company meetings which pertain to this Agreement, at least one (1) member representative from Food Service and Vending will attend. Specifically, Union representation Company Union meetings is as follows: Grievance Meetings Step One Unit Chairperson and xxxxxxx who presented grievance, Step two The seven person committee as described in clause and the Unit Business Agent or Agents. Negotiating Meetings The seven (7) person committee as described in clause and the Unit Business Agent or Agents. Company-Union Meetings. The Company agrees to supply boards for the use of the Union and Safety Committee. Notices to be posted shall be submitted and approved by the Manage- ment before they are posted on the bulletin boards. The Union agrees not to hold any meetings on the Company’s property without first obtaining the approval of the Management. The Company and the Union agree that meetings between the Union and the Company may be held at cer- tain times to discuss problems. Such meetings will be re- quested by the Local Union President or the Plant Man- ager. Such request will be discussed between these two people and if they both agree that such a meeting is war- ranted, the time and the for the meeting will be es- by them. The company and management meet- ings per year to discuss plant issues. The union will have a maximum of five representatives at these meetings. The Company agrees to pay at straight time its em- ployees who are members of the Negotiating, Grievance, Safety, Labour-Management, Forklift Certification, Capital Expenditures, Social and other committees agreed to by the parties, for the time spent at meetings called by Management. Company will agree that when an employee is called in on disciplinary matters, the Union representative and the employee may meet to discuss the matter for a short period of time. This meeting will not exceed minutes. This meeting will take place immediately following the dis- ciplinary meeting. ARTICLE
