Maximum Vacation. Employees are eligible for vacation with pay, or in the calendar year of their retirement take pay in lieu of vacation at the time of retirement. Employees may also elect to use vacation to cancel undertime. Eligible employees earn vacation time off with pay according to the following schedule:

Accrual and accumulation of vacation time shall cease at the time an employee's vacation balance reaches the maximum balance allowed and shall not resume until the employee's vacation balance is below the maximum allowed.

Maximum Vacation. Accrual provisions applicable to all unit employees, except for the “Fire Battalion Chief” classification: Effective June 1, 2015, the maximum vacation accrual shall be capped at two- hundred forty (240) hours. Once an employee’s vacation balance reaches this 240-hour cap, accrual of vacation shall be suspended until an employee’s vacation leave balance is reduced below the 240-hour cap.
Maximum Vacation. Accrual provisions applicable to the “Fire Battalion Chief” classification only: Effective June 1, 2015, the maximum vacation accrual shall be capped at five- hundred (500) hours. Once an employee’s vacation balance reaches this 500- hour cap, accrual of vacation shall be suspended until an employee’s vacation leave balance is reduced below the 500-hour cap. If as of June 1, 2015, an employee has more than five hundred (500) hours of accrued vacation leave and the employee has not exercised their right to sell back the full one hundred twenty (120) hours, the City will cash out the employees’ vacation in excess of five hundred (500) hours, up to the one hundred twenty (120) hour annual sell-back limit. An employee may elect to take all or part of earned vacation or may carry over to the next service year all or part of earned vacation (up to 500 hours) as approved by the Department Head.
Maximum Vacation. The maximum vacation that will be granted to any full-time, twelve (12) month employee is twenty-five (25) days. The maximum amount of vacation time a member can accrue in their vacation bank shall be limited to fifteen (15) days more than their annual vacation accrual rate set forth in this Agreement. During periods of construction or other major disruptions of a similar type at work site with ten (10) or more members, the District may deny a vacation request, if the site is reduced by more than 10% of the workforce. At a worksite with less than ten (10) members, the district may deny a vacation request, if the site is reduced by more than half of the workforce. The District will inform DESPA twenty (20) days in advance prior to invoking this limitation.

  • Annual Vacation Pay Vacation pay shall be paid at the regular hourly rate of the Nurse in effect immediately prior to the Nurse taking vacation.

  • Annual Vacation Auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of four percent (4%) of their regular earnings. After one thousand (1,000) days worked, auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of six percent (6%) of their regular earnings.

  • Maximum Vacation Accrual Employees may accrue vacation up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. An employee who has reached the maximum accrual level may continue to accrue vacation until his or her next anniversary date, at which time any vacation accrued in addition to the two hundred forty (240) hour maximum accrual will be extinguished. With the written approval of the appropriate Vice President, an employee may accrue more than two hundred forty (240) hours of vacation when he or she is precluded from taking a previously scheduled vacation because of University needs. Any such written approval will specify a timeline for the employee to use any excess vacation accrual, after which any excess vacation accrual will be extinguished.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A. Full time employees, except for participants in the Deferred Retirement Option Program, shall be entitled to earn Annual Leave (Vacation) time according to the following schedule: YEARS OF CONSECUTIVE SERVICE COMPLETED: DAYS EARNED PER BI-WEEKLY PERIOD: UP TO AN ANNUAL MAXIMUM OF: less than 5 .38 10 days 5 .57 15 days 10 .65 17 days 13 .77 20 days 20 .80 21 days 21 .84 22 days 22 .88 23 days 23 .92 24 days 24 .96 25 days B.   • Paid Vacation Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no longer than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned.

  • VACATIONS AND VACATION PAY 9.01 All employees who are covered under this Agreement shall receive vacation pay as a percent of the employee's total earnings exclusive of the Employer's contribution to the Union's Pension, Health Benefit Plan, Education and Assistance Fund and Industry Fund. Income tax shall be deducted weekly from the employee's earnings increased by the amount of vacation pay.

  • ANNUAL VACATIONS Vacation entitlement earned during previous employment shall be credited to the employee, and vacations granted shall be in accordance with such previous entitlement (Articles 28.01 and 28.02).
