Concerts. Athletic contests;
Concerts. 6.3.1 Concerts may be scheduled at 2, 2.5 hours or 3 hours in length.
6.3.2 One educational concert including a maximum of one hour rehearsal and a minimum of 30 minutes break taking place within a 3-hour spread-over shall count as one call and 3 hours.
6.3.3 Two educational concerts including a maximum of one hour rehearsal and a minimum of 60 minutes break (30 minutes between rehearsal and the first concert and 30 minutes between concerts) taking place within a 4.5-hour spreadover will count as 1.5 calls and 4.5 hours.
Concerts. All concerts are mandatory. Students are not allowed to rehearse with the orchestra if they cannot play the concert. A student absent from a concert without prior permission may be asked to leave the program for the rest of the season. Record rehearsal and concert schedules on the family calendar so these dates are reserved prior to other planning. When possible, plan family vacations and weekend outings to avoid conflicts with rehearsals. Consider leaving for vacations after Saturday morning rehearsals. The 2020-2021 MYS Calendar is available on the MYS website at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxxxx Students withdrawing from MYS for a trimester are responsible to notify the Operations Manager and return the music folder given to them by MYS. Please inform the conductor before withdrawing from an orchestra. Withdrawing from an orchestra any time after a trimester begins will result in reassignment of parts, re-seating of the section, loss of principal status and/or expulsion from the orchestra. Students who leave are responsible for paying full tuition for that trimester. Students will be allowed to return only if their position has not been filled and at the discretion of the conductor. As members of MYS, it is expected that our musicians be on their best behavior during rehearsal and while at any function where they represent the orchestra. Our goal is to make sure we do our best to keep all our students safe, maintain a positive public image, and provide the proper learning environment. Participation in MYS is subject to the observance of the organization’s rules and procedures as outlined below.
Concerts. Music in the Gardens (every Sunday June-August):
a. Hang supporter, sponsor, and vendor banners.
b. Add additional trash cans.
c. Block off areas for the food vendors.
d. Be the direct contact for the bands to provide them with what they need (access to electricity, access to the sound equipment, etc.)
Concerts. Fees and expenses for the above will be paid in accordance with the ABO/MU agreement.
Concerts. A Concert will always be defined as being 3 hours in length and will be treated as a Standard Session as in 2.1 above as per a concert day. Any concert lasting over 3 hours will be subject to overtime as per clause 4, and will not be subject to the Long Session rate, except in the case of concerts with an extended interval which shall be treated as a Long Session. Such concerts lasting over 4.5 hours will be subject to overtime. Contracted days in which a concert takes place will always be paid as consisting of no less than 6 hours (2 Standard Sessions). It is understood that scheduling more than 7.5 hours’ session time on a concert day (except where the concert contains an extended interval) is to be avoided where possible; if further session time is required this must be discussed and agreed with the Musicians’ Union well in advance.
Concerts. A Concert may include such items as musical perfor ma nces, comedy performances, so o performances or any event that generally falls withi n these guidelines. Should there be any questi onas to whether an event is a Concert event, the Centre and the Union agree to meet toresolve this questi on. The min imum crew for a Concert shall be:
a) Head Xxxxxxxxx

c) Property Master
d) Chief Sound Technician, if necessary. Except where the Concert is a "Yellow Card'' sh ow, st age employees who are not regular employees (house crew) may be required to assist each other without regard to department. Assist ants may be required to work on the stage without regard to department d uring performances.
Concerts. Big Top may hold concerts or other musical events at the Stadium each year of the Agreement. Big Top may have three such events in 2016, five in 2017, and six each remaining year of the Agreement, subject to any reductions as provided for in paragraph (7) below. The Facility Rental Fee in Section4.a applies to these events. Big Top may have additional such events at the Stadium in any calendar year with the prior approval of the Board of Parks Commissioners, following notification of the area Alders and the Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx Neighborhood Association. Rental Fees for events in excess of these amounts shall be negotiable between the City and Big Top.

6.3.4 Where concerts are scheduled in accordance with Clause 6.3.2 or 6.3.3, the short rehearsal is intended only as a sound check / balance call. In cases where no prior orchestral rehearsal has been scheduled, and in all cases where Clause 6.3.4 is to be used, the Company will liaise with the Orchestra Committee before scheduling in this manner to ensure that the repertoire presented is suitable for the proposed schedule.
Concerts. The provisions, called solo concerts, define the peace of the agreement and provide key background information about parties. This agreement contains a simple statement of intent to transfer the rights to the works created.
