Conference and Conventions. A. All conference or convention expenses shall be reimbursed in accordance with the budgetary requirements. B. An itemized account is required which will include details of transportation costs (based upon lowest connecting public carrier costs or official highway map mileage), meals, lodging, and conference registration fee. This report shall be submitted not more than thirty (30) days after the conference or convention.

Conference and Conventions. The Board shall authorize no more than two (2) elected delegates of OAPSE Local 13 in addition to members of the OAPSE Executive Board, members of OAPSE State Committees, and OAPSE District Offices, leave of no more than three (3) days to attend the OAPSE Annual Conference with continuity of salary. The Board shall not pay any expenses of the delegates for such leave. The number of such employees shall be limited to a total of four (4) at any one time.
Conference and Conventions. In order that each employee shall have the opportunity for an exchange of knowledge and experience with professional colleagues, each employee shall have the right to apply to attend any conference or convention related to the employee's field of employment. The Employer may approve of the employee's attendance at such conferences and conventions to operational constraints as determined by the Employer. An employee who attends a conference or convention at the request of the Employer to represent the interests of the Employer shall be deemed to be on duty, and, as required, in travel status. The Parties to this Agreement share a desire to improve professional standards by giving employees the opportunity to participate in seminars, courses or similar programmes to keep up to date with knowledge and skills in their respective fields, or to conduct research or to perform work related to their normal research programmes in institutions or locations other than those of the Employer.

  • Conventions For purposes of this Article XIII, Party A means the Carrier from which a telephone number is Ported, and Party B means the carrier to which a telephone number is ported.

  • Conference Attendance The Federation will be entitled to five (5) person days per year release time for designated Federation representatives to attend conferences.   • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable. B. In the event that a bargaining unit member does not communicate with a parent on the established date for parent unit member conferences as per the calendar adopted by the Board, a reasonable attempt to contact that parent will be made. A reasonable attempt constitutes a phone call or email. If that contact is not returned, the bargaining unit member shall not be obligated to make further contact.

  • Conference Promptly after the execution of this Contract, Contractor shall confer with the Program Manager, Design Professional, Owner, and Using Agency to identify personnel and relevant organizational charts of each team member, and to establish working relationships with each team member.

Otherwise it is replaced by “ryde”.

  • Conferences At the request of the State or the Engineer, conferences shall be provided at the Engineer's office, the office of the State, or at other locations designated by the State. These conferences shall also include evaluation of the Engineer's services and work when requested by the State.
