CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT COURSES. 19.01 The parties agree that this Article sets out all rights and privileges for Continuing Education teachers who are teaching a credit course. 19.02 Teachers interested in teaching secondary Continuing Education Programs are invited to send in applications to the Continuing Education department. (a) Summer School (i) The Board shall give first consideration to Continuing Education Summer School Teachers who are qualified to teach a course and according to the number of years of service teaching Summer School. In addition to the required qualifications, exceptions based on applicable experiences will be identified by the Board and shared with the Union. Such exceptions will not be unreasonably applied.

(d) Effective September 1, 2011 : The salary of Continuing Education teachers shall be $44.89 per hour (including Vacation Pay under the Employment Standards Act). 19.05 Continuing Education principals shall be responsible for arranging Occasional Teacher coverage for absent Continuing Education Teachers. 19.06 The Board agrees that no Continuing Education teacher who is teaching a credit course shall be disciplined or discharged except for just cause. 19.07 The grievance procedure in Article 10 will apply to night school and summer school credit course teachers. 19.08 A seniority list will be developed for Summer School/Night School and distributed for correction and scrutiny at the same time as the seniority list for regular day-school teachers. 19.09 The Board and a continuing education teacher (night school or summer school teacher of credit courses) shall give written notice to the other of not less than two (2) weeks should either wish to terminate the teacher’s employment in that program prior to the end of the assignment. Such notice shall not apply in the event of termination for cause.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT COURSES. (1) The parties agree that all rights and privileges for continuing education teachers teaching credit courses are contained in this Article. (2) All positions will be posted internally and in filling positions the Board will give preference to qualified teachers employed by the Board. (3) The hourly rate of pay for continuing education teachers teaching a credit course will be $32.46 per hour effective September 1, 2000, $32.79 per hour effective September 1, 2001, and $33.28 per hour effective February 1, 2002. (4) The hourly rate of pay is based only on scheduled classroom teaching hours.

Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Employment Relations Education Leave Employment Relations Education Leave will be allowed in accordance with the Employment Relations Act.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR EDUCATION 1. Prior to the submission of a new application for any new mortgage loan originator license or, as applicable, the filing of a petition for the reinstatement of an MLO Activity Endorsement in any Participating State as provided for in Section II, Paragraph 2 of this Order, the Respondent will be required to complete the following mortgage loan originator education requirements: a. Twenty hours of NMLS approved PE, which shall consist of 14 hours of federal law curriculum, three hours of ethics curriculum, and three hours of non-traditional mortgage lending curriculum. None of these 20 hours of PE may be state-specific curriculum; and b. Eight hours of CE, which shall consist of four hours of federal law curriculum, two hours of ethics curriculum, and two hours of non-traditional mortgage lending curriculum. None of these eight hours of CE may be state-specific curriculum. 2. Respondent may not take any of the PE or CE provided for in Paragraph 1 of this Section in an online self-study format (“OSS”). 3. For a period three years from the Effective Date of this Order, Respondent shall be required to complete any additional required PE and/or CE in a format other than OSS.
