CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. PURPOSE OF ARTICLE
23.01 It is the desire of both parties to specify within this Article the entitlement to salary, allowances and other mutually agreed items of "Continuing Education Teachers", as that term is defined by the Education Act, while employed by the Board to teach a secondary school credit course. The provisions of this Article shall constitute the entire agreement of the parties regarding Continuing Education Teachers. No other provisions of the Collective Agreement between the parties shall apply to Continuing Education Teachers unless expressly indicated otherwise in this Article.
23.02 Where a conflict appears between a provision of this Article and a provision of the remainder of the Collective Agreement, the provision of this Article prevails.
23.03 The following clauses of the Collective Agreement shall apply to Continuing Education Teachers, together with this Article:
Article 1 Purpose and Scope
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. The terms and conditions of employment in this Part apply only to Continuing Education Teachers.
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. Continuing Education Teachers are members of the Bargaining Unit. If the program continues, the terms and conditions of work for September, 2003 will be negotiated with the Union.
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. The provisions of this Article shall constitute the entire agreement of the parties regarding Continuing Education Teachers. None of the provisions of the Collective Agreement apply to such teachers unless expressly indicated otherwise in this Article.

For the purpose of clarity, this Article shall not apply to Continuing Education Teachers employed by the Board to teach any other courses and shall not apply to Continuing Education Instructors as that term is defined by the Education Act. The provisions of this Article shall constitute the entire agreement of the parties regarding Continuing Education Teachers. No other provisions of the Agreement between the parties shall apply to Continuing Education Teachers unless expressly indicated otherwise in this Article.
22.02 Where a conflict appears between a provision of this Article and a provision of the remainder of the Agreement, the provision of this Article prevails.
22.03 The following other clauses of the Agreement shall apply to Continuing Education Teachers:
Article I - Purpose
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. 29.01 It is the desire of both parties to specify within this Article the entitlement to salary, allowances and other mutually agreed items for "Continuing Education Teachers", as that term is defined by the Education Act as amended, while employed by the Employer to teach one or more secondary school credits or non-streamed equivalent credits, excluding credits taught in Section 23 or C.I.S. programs. No other provisions of the Collective Agreement between the parties shall apply to continuing education teachers unless specifically referred to below: Article 2 - Recognition Article 3 - Rights and Responsibilities Article 4 - Duration & Renewal Article 30 - Grievance Procedure Article 5.08 - Union Dues
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. 30.1 It is the desire of both parties to specify within this Article the entitlement to salary and other mutually agreed items of "Continuing Education Teachers", as that term is defined by the Education Act, while employed by the Board to teach an elementary school course or class. 30.3 The following Articles shall apply with respect to Continuing Education Teachers: Article 1 – Purpose
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. L14:01 The Article specifies the salary allowances and other mutually agreed items of “Continuing Education Teachers (Secondary)” as defined by The Education Act. No other provisions of the Collective Agreement shall apply to Continuing Education teachers unless expressly indicated otherwise in this Article.
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. The purpose of the performance appraisal systems is to: ensure that students receive the benefit of an education system staffed by teachers who are performing their duties satisfactorily; provide fair, effective and consistent teacher evaluation in every school year; promote professional growth The Board and the Union agree to meet should changes be implemented to the Teacher Performance Appraisal System by the Ministry of Education.
CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS. Salary grids and allowances shall be in accordance with Part A, Section 2 and as follows:
33:01 Continuing Education Teacher means a Teacher employed to teach a continuing education course or class established in accordance with the regulations for which a valid Ontario Certificate of Registration or a Letter of Permission as a Teacher is required.
