Protective Devices. Protective devices, wearing apparel, and other equipment necessary to protect employees from injury shall be provided by the County in accordance with practices now prevailing or as such practices may be improved from time to time by the County.
Protective Devices. The City shall provide headphone style hearing protection devices in sufficient numbers to equip an on duty crew. This shall include radio headphones as required. All protective devices shall be the property of the City.
Protective Devices. 14.5.1 The District shall make reasonable efforts to supply necessary protective devices to teachers who work with hazardous equipment and corrosive chemicals.
Protective Devices. Each Party shall provide the other Party, in advance, written notice of any changes to be made to the Project or to any facility on Utility’s grid that may affect the proper coordination of protective devices between the two systems. Developer shall not disable or otherwise change or modify any protective equipment in its Interconnection Facilities or change or modify the operation or settings thereof without first requesting and receiving the written approval of Utility, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. With reasonable notice to Developer, Utility may require Developer to modify or to expand the protective devices by means of which the Project is connected to Utility’s grid. In such event, Utility shall reimburse the Developer for the reasonable costs of such modification or expansion.
Protective Devices. Employees shall wear safety equipment provided by the employer. The employee shall wear such equipment in a proper manner.
Protective Devices. The board agrees to provide for each employee such special clothing, equipment and devices as may be needed to perform assigned duties in a reasonably safe manner. All such items shall be provided without charge to the employee.
Protective Devices. 7.3.1 The Company’s Interconnection Facilities shall be connected to the JPS Grid or system by means of suitable switchgear and protective devices.
7.3.2 Each Party shall notify the other Party in advance of any changes to either (i) the Facility or (ii) the JPS Grid that may affect the proper coordination of protective devices between the two systems.
7.3.3 The Company shall not disable or otherwise change or modify any protective equipment in its Interconnection Facilities or change or modify the operation or settings thereof without first requesting and receiving the approval in writing of JPS, which approval shall not be unreasonably conditioned, withheld or delayed.
7.3.4 Subject to giving the Company reasonable notice, JPS may reasonably require the Company to modify or expand the protective devices in the Complex and the Company’s Interconnection Facilities. The Company shall at its own cost and expense effect any reasonable change or modification to the protective devices in accordance with Clause 7.3.2 provided that such modification or expansion is within the requirements specified in Schedules 2 and 3 hereto and the Interconnection Criteria and the Agreement Criteria otherwise the cost and expense shall be shared equally by the Parties.
7.3.5 Subject to giving the Company notice, JPS may require the Company to modify or expand the protective devices. JPS shall reimburse the Company for the reasonable costs of such modification or expansion unless such modification or expansion is a component of the Interconnection Facilities for the Facility as provided in the Interconnection Criteria or reasonably should have been included in the Interconnection Facilities pursuant thereto or in accordance with the Agreement Criteria and Prudent Utility Practice.
Protective Devices. (a) As part of the Seller Interconnection Works, the Seller shall install protective relays in accordance with Schedule 3. The Seller shall maintain the settings of all relays in the Complex at the levels agreed by the Seller and the Purchaser, and the Seller shall not change such settings without the prior written consent of the Purchaser.
(b) The Seller and the Purchaser shall verify the operation of the protection devices in accordance with the testing programme set out in Schedule 3.
(c) Subject to giving the Seller reasonable notice, the Purchaser may require the Seller to modify or expand the requirements for protective devices. Following approval by the Purchaser of the costs of such modification or expansion, the Seller shall perform such modification or expansion. Such work shall be completed within a reasonable time under the circumstances. To the extent that any modification or expansion of the requirements for protective devices causes the Seller a delay in Commissioning the Complex, as certified by the Engineer,the Required Commercial Operations Date shall be extended Day- for-Day to account for such delay. The Purchaser shall be notified in advance of, and shall have the right to observe, all work on the protective devices.
(d) Following completion of such modification or expansion work, the Seller shall provide the Purchaser with an invoice for the reasonable and necessary costs therefor, together with supporting documentation with respect thereto. The Purchaser shall pay the Seller the required amount within thirty (30) Days after delivery of the invoice by the Seller.
(e) Each Party shall notify the other Party in advance of any changes to either the Complex or the Grid System that may affect the proper co-ordination of protective devices between the two systems, and neither Party shall make any such changes to either the Complex or the Grid System, as the case may be, without the other Party’s prior written approval.
Protective Devices a. Loads connected to a service shall have sufficient protective devices, installed and maintained at the customer's expense, to prevent damage to equipment during routine conditions that may include sudden loss of voltage, sudden re-energization, opening of one or more phases, and voltage or current fluctuations or variations.
b. It is the responsibility of the customer to furnish, install, and maintain at his expense any protective devices necessary to coordinate with Utility's protective devices to avoid exposing other Utility customers to unnecessary service interruptions.
c. The connection and operation of customer owned generation facilities in parallel with the Utility's system will be governed by the requirements of Rule No.
