Day of Shift. A shift shall be considered as worked on the calendar day on which it begins. A shift that begins at 12 midnight shall be considered as a night shift of the day before.
Day of Shift. For the purpose of defining Saturday, Sunday and holiday pay, a shift shall be considered as having been worked on the calendar day on which the shift begins. Any shift beginning at 12:00 Midnight will be considered as the third shift of the preceding day, except on Saturday, in which case such shift shall be considered Sunday.
SECTION 5.1. A third shift may be added with a Sunday through Thursday work week. A Sunday night start would be considered the first day of the work week and not be subject to the Sunday overtime premium.
SECTION 5.2. The starting time for the second shift in Primary Machining may be modified to start at 4:30 PM. Primary Machining only refers to three job classifications: Mazak, Set-up Single Spindle, and Set Up Specialist. Second Shift in Primary Machining will receive an additional fifty (50) cents per hour whenever their shift starts at 4:30 PM.

A twenty minute lunch period paid for by the Company will be granted to those employees whose operations are on the three shift basis. the con- tinuous shift operation and the night shift two shift operation. A relief period of ten minutes will he during the first half shift of the day. schedule of hours of work. as set down in this Agreement. shall not be considered a of hours of work per day or per week. I Employees shall be their work places ready for work when the starting whistle blows. Failure to do this shall be considered lateness. A man punching the time clock between three (3) and (15) minutesafter timewill be docked fifteen minutes pay; punching between fifteen (15) and thirty (30)minutes after starting time will be docked one-half hour’s pay. If a man is over one-half hour late, he must receive his Xxxxxxx’x permission before starting work and having received this permission will be paid for the time worked with the understanding that calcula- tions are not made for periods of less than fifteen (15) minutes. Employees shall at their work until the stop out-of-line differential, but does not include shift premiums, incentive bonuses or overtime premiums. Subject to the further provisions of this article, the Company shall pay an employee one and one-half times his regular straight time hourly pay for all hours he required to work:
