Sunday and Holiday Pay. Unless their normal shift is a Sunday, employees shall be paid two (2) times their regular hourly rate for all hours required to work on Sundays and shall be paid two (2) times their hourly rate plus holiday pay for hours worked on the holidays recognized in this AGREEMENT.

Sunday and Holiday Pay. Employees will be assigned to work Sundays and holidays only in emergency and on special occasions. Such work will be paid in addition to any paid holidays. This paragraph shall not apply to Bus Drivers or building checks.
Sunday and Holiday Pay. If the ESP is required to work a holiday, the ESP will be paid for time worked in addition to the holiday pay due him/her.   • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate.   • Paid Holiday Bank Employees qualify in accordance with the collective agreement. The paid holidays are identified in the Collective Agreement. Credit to the paid holiday bank will occur on the date of the holiday. Drawing from the paid holiday bank will occur at an accelerated rate of 1.25 hours paid for every hour taken (i.e. 11.25 hours worked equals 14.05 hours paid; 7.5 hours worked equals 9.375 hours paid).

When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work. B. On each of the holidays designated above, each part-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee’s basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.

  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.
