DETAIL TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS PROHIBITED a. The City of Warwick agrees that members of the Warwick Fire Department, whose duties are as defined in Article III, Section l, shall not be detailed to other depart- ments of the City. The details from one unit to another within the Fire Department shall be the responsibility of the Chief or Assistant Chief(s). This provision of the contract shall in no way restrict the interdepartmental exchanges of service within the City Government in accordance with prior practices.

DETAIL TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS PROHIBITED. The City of East Providence agrees that members of the East Providence Police Department, whose duties are as defined in Article V, Section 5.01, shall not be detailed to other departments of the City except in case of emergency as declared by the City Manager. Transfer shall be at time and one half. The transfer from one unit to another within the police department shall be the responsibility of the Chief of the department. No police officer will be required to work as a dispatcher for an entire shift except in cases of emergency as declared by the City Manager.

DETAIL TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS PROHIBITED. The town of Jamestown agrees that employees of the Jamestown Police Department whose duties are defined in Article III, Section 2, shall not be detailed to other departments of the Town except in emergency situations. The detail from one unit to another within the Police Department shall be the responsibility of the Chief of Police except to the extent expressly limited by specific terms of the seniority provisions of this Agreement. It is expressly understood by both parties hereto that the maintenance and upkeep of police vehicles and the Headquarters Building, with the exception of removal of trash generated during the shift are not within the scope of police duties; and it is further understood that no police officer shall be ordered to perform such duties.
DETAIL TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS PROHIBITED. The City of East Providence agrees that members of the East Providence Fire Department whose duties are defined in Article V, Section 5.01, shall not be detailed to other departments of the City except in emergencies; and such detail shall be compensated for at the rate of time and one half (1.5) for duties performed. Except that the detailing of staff members to assist other departments of the City by use of their particular expertise shall be the responsibility of the Chief or the City Manager and shall be at straight time pay if during regular working hours. The transfer from one unit to another within the fire department shall be the responsibility of the Chief of the department.

The Chairman of the Board of Selectmen shall proclaim an emergency. The transfer from one unit to another unit within the Police Department shall be the responsibility of the Chief of Police.

  • USE OF CONTRACT BY OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES At the option of the Contractor, the use of the contract resulting from this solicitation may be extended to other governmental agencies, including the State of Florida, its agencies, political subdivisions, counties, and cities. Each governmental agency allowed by the Contractor to use this contract shall do so independent of any other governmental entity. Each agency shall be responsible for its own purchases and shall be liable only for goods or services ordered, received and accepted. No agency receives any liability by virtue of this bid and subsequent contract award.

  • Gifts Prohibited The Consultant represents that it is familiar with Chapter 12.08 of the San Xxxx Municipal Code, which generally prohibits a City officer or designated employee from accepting any gift. The Consultant shall not offer any City officer or designated employee any gift prohibited by Chapter 12.08. The Consultant’s violation of this Subsection 21.1 is a material breach.

  • Occupational First Aid Requirements and Courses (a) The Union and the Employer agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act shall be fully complied with.

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.
