Determination of Salary and Benefits Data to Be Collected. In addition to base salaries, benefit data elements for a total compensation study normally include at least the following, which are generally available to all staff in a specific job classification: Employee Retirement, Retiree Healthcare Cost, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Long- Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and other insurance coverage, Vacation, Holidays, Administrative/Personal Leave, Deferred Compensation, Auto Allowance, and other benefits that the City wants to add.
