Digital Learning. Where a digital learning class is offered and run in any Euclid School District building during the student day, a bargaining unit member (referred to as facilitator) will be assigned to facilitate the program and supervise the students. A bargaining unit member (referred to as facilitator) will be assigned to facilitate the program and supervise no more than one hundred fifty (150) students. Facilitator will be responsible for the registration of students into selected courses using the adopted online system. The facilitator will be expected to provide students with their usernames and passwords and provide them an orientation on their first day of class. The facilitator will be expected to monitor student progress daily, using the approved on-line system, contacting students and parents if the need arises outside of the school day, and manage the operations of the classroom activities. The classroom may consist of special education students, credit recovery students, transfer credit students, flex credit students, students with health issues, and/or students with behavior issues. Students will be assigned to the facilitator as the “teacher of record” for reporting purposes. All other students will be assigned to the general education content area or the course will be recorded online for reporting purposes. In addition to a facilitator, content area teachers awarded the supplemental contract will provide tutoring assistance. Supplemental contract awarded will be compensated at .0767 of the BA base for tutoring each content area assigned. There shall be an additional .0256 of the BA base supplemental contract for grading in each of the content areas. The duties for the grading supplemental will be an average of one hour per week after school grading. The teacher awarded the supplemental to tutor in a content area shall also be offered the grading supplemental. Should the teacher decline the grading supplemental, it shall be posted separately. The teachers currently tutoring in each content area shall be offered the supplemental prior to posting. All non-core content assignments will be monitored and graded by the facilitator. Facilitator will receive a supplemental contract for .0256 of the BA base for this additional responsibility.

Students in the program are given the 16 flexibility of choosing classes on-site, online, or a combination of both, and student schedules are personalized 17 to their learning needs. 18

The parties agree to have ongoing discussions regarding the operation and potential 24 expansion of the District’s On-Line Academy with the goal of providing learning 25 opportunities for students in a unique and flexible environment using digital curriculum. 27 2. Employees will be used to guide student learning, subject to all parameters of the negotiated 28 agreement. If employees are assigned online work within the regular work day, they shall be 29 compensated as part of their FTE or buy-out of their planning period. Online extra work 30 with students outside the contracted work day will be compensated at the professional rate. 32 3. Instructional and seat time for students varies with most students attending only one (1) to 33 two (2) labs weekly. 35 4. Flexible scheduling for staff may be necessary but will follow the regular CBA guidelines of 36 a continuous 7.5 hours work day with appropriate planning and lunch, unless an alternative 37 schedule is agreed upon by both administration and the impacted employee. 38 39 5. Employees shall have the professional responsibility to determine appropriate curriculum 40 modules for students within the digital learning platform. 42 6. Student Workload Stipends. Employees will be paid a stipend based on average monthly 43 counts completed on the first student day of each month October through January, and 44 February through June, with an additional count on the last student day: 45 46 1.0 FTE = 200 students for CORE instruction courses (electives are provided by 47 virtual teachers monitored by paraeducators), and will be prorated for less than 48 1.0 FTE employees. 49 50 51 52 53 200-207 $1,000 208-215 $1,200 216-223 $1,400 224-231 $1,600 232-239 $1,800 240-247 $2,000 248 or more $2,200 2 Counselor student workload: The workload of counselors will align with the state 3 requirements for each program (POA and PODS). A counselor may request a workload meeting with 6 the program administrators and a PEA representative to discuss solutions if they 7 believe his/her workload is excessive.
Digital Learning. Distance learning will be activated in case of an increase COVID-19 cases, as stated in the Decree no.39 of 26/06/2020 - "School plan 2020-2021": paragraph "School plan for integrated digital education" «Should the epidemiological trend suggest new emergency situations at a national or local level, the stop of in class- teaching and the use of digital learning could be arranged again, through the integrated digital teaching method.".

  • Distance Learning Professors teaching distance learning classes shall offer virtual student office hours as per Article 13.B.8.

  • Mail Order Catalog Warnings In the event that, the Settling Entity prints new catalogs and sells units of the Products via mail order through such catalogs to California consumers or through its customers, the Settling Entity shall provide a warning for each unit of such Product both on the label in accordance with subsection 2.4 above, and in the catalog in a manner that clearly associates the warning with the specific Product being purchased. Any warning provided in a mail order catalog shall be in the same type size or larger than other consumer information conveyed for such Product within the catalog and shall be located on the same display page of the item. The catalog warning may use the Short-Form Warning content described in subsection 2.3(b) if the language provided on the Product label also uses the Short-Form Warning.

  • Network Management 60.1 CLEC and CenturyLink will exchange appropriate information (e.g., network information, maintenance contact numbers, escalation procedures, and information required to comply with requirements of law enforcement and national security agencies) for network management purposes. In addition, the Parties will apply sound network management principles to alleviate or to prevent traffic congestion and to minimize fraud associated with third number billed calls, calling card calls, and other services related to this Agreement. 60.2 The Parties will employ characteristics and methods of operation that will not interfere with or impair the Parties’ networks, or the network of any third parties or Affiliated companies, connected with or involved directly in the network or facilities of CenturyLink. 60.3 CLEC shall not interfere with or impair service over any circuits, facilities or equipment of CenturyLink, its Affiliated companies, or its connecting and concurring carriers. 60.4 If CLEC causes any impairment or interference, CenturyLink shall promptly notify CLEC of the nature and location of the problem and that, unless promptly rectified, a temporary discontinuance of the use of any circuit, facility or equipment may be required. The Parties agree to work together to attempt to promptly resolve the impairment or interference. If CLEC is unable to promptly remedy, then CenturyLink may, at its option, temporarily discontinue the use of the affected circuit, facility or equipment until the impairment is remedied. 60.5 Any violation of Applicable Law or regulation regarding the invasion of privacy of any communications carried over CenturyLink’s facilities, or that creates hazards to the employees of CenturyLink or to the public, is also considered an impairment of service. 60.6 CenturyLink shall give advanced notice to CLEC of all non-scheduled maintenance or other planned network activities to be performed by CenturyLink on any Network Element, including any hardware, equipment, software, or system, providing service functionality of which CLEC has advised CenturyLink may potentially impact CLEC End Users. 60.7 The Parties shall provide notice of network changes and upgrades in accordance with 47 C.F.R. §§51.325 through 51.335. CenturyLink may discontinue any Interconnection arrangement, Telecommunications Service, or Network Element provided or required hereunder due to network changes or upgrades after providing CLEC notice as required by this Section. CenturyLink agrees to cooperate with CLEC and/or the appropriate regulatory body in any transition resulting from such discontinuation of service and to minimize the impact to customers which may result from such discontinuance of service.

  • TEXT MESSAGING WHILE DRIVING In accordance with Executive Order (EO) 13513, “Federal Leadership on Reducing Text Messaging While Driving,” any and all text messaging by Federal employees is banned: a) while driving a Government owned vehicle (GOV) or driving a privately owned vehicle (POV) while on official Government business; or b) using any electronic equipment supplied by the Government when driving any vehicle at any time. All cooperators, their employees, volunteers, and contractors are encouraged to adopt and enforce policies that ban text messaging when driving company owned, leased or rented vehicles, POVs or GOVs when driving while on official Government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the Government.

  • E-LEARNING E-Learning is defined as a method of credit course delivery that relies on communication between students and teachers through the internet or any other digital platform and does not require students to be face-to-face with each other or with their teacher. Online learning shall have the same meaning as E-Learning.

For pediatric dental care services, network provider is a dentist that has entered into a contract with us or participates in the Dental Coast to Coast Network. For pediatric vision hardware services, a network provider is a provider that has entered into a contract with EyeMed, our vision care service manager.
