Driver's License Checks. Employees who are required by job description to hold a valid driver's license or who are on a list of authorized drivers or who drive their personal vehicles for County business must sign a waiver authorizing the employer to perform a driver's licensecheck. Employees who are not required by job description to hold a valid license may refuse to sign the waiver but these employees shall not be permitted todrive a County vehicle or a personal vehicle for County business untilsuchtime asthecheck isperformed. Other employees who refuse to sign thewaiver may be subject tonon- disciplinary demotion or suspension untilsuchtime as proof of a valid license is provided to the Employer. The drivers' license checks are to be performed for the purpose of determining validity only. Information on the validity of the license may be shared by the Human Resource Department on a "need to know" basis only. The checks will routinely be performed once each year but, at the discretion of the Employer, may be performed more oftenin instances of promotion or for probable cause. Employees who lose their driving privileges will be placed in a non-driving position if available or placed on a non-disciplinary suspension untilsuchtime astheemployee's driver'slicenseis restored or theemployeeprovidesproof of Court ordered driving privileges. Employees placed on this non-disciplinarysuspension may use accumulated paid leave until they are permitted to return to work. Employees are required to report anysuspension of driving privileges to theEmployer as soon as suchsuspension is known.

Driver's License Checks. The CITY shall use the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles pull notice program for the purpose of determining the status of the driver's licenses of all EMPLOYEES required to possess them. This is for the protection of the integrity of the CITY'S liability insurance and the safety of EMPLOYEES and citizens. Any adverse actions taken would include appropriate appeal rights for EMPLOYEES.
Driver's License Checks. While operating City of Xxxxxxx vehicles, all employees must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License in their possession at all times. This is required for compliance with state law and is also required by the City’s insurance carrier. If possession of a valid driver’s license is a requirement in the employee’s job description, no less frequently than on an annual basis, the City will enter the employee’s Washington State Driver’s License number into the publicly accessed Washington State Department of Licensing webpage to check driver license status.

  • Background Checks The State may require that the Contractor and Contractor Parties undergo criminal background checks as provided for in the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Administration and Operations Manual or such other State document as governs procedures for background checks. The Contractor and Contractor Parties shall cooperate fully as necessary or reasonably requested with the State and its agents in connection with such background checks.

  • General and Criminal Background Checks 5.2.13.1. PSP hereby represents and warrants, and by execution of an Assignment thereby represents and warrants, that neither PSP nor any of PSP’s employees have been convicted of a felony criminal offense, or of a crime involving moral turpitude, or that, if such a conviction has occurred, PSP has fully advised TFC in writing as to the facts and circumstances surrounding the conviction(s).

  • Criminal Background Checks Provider and College reserve the right to conduct criminal background checks on Resident to determine Resident’s suitability to live in Residence Facility, and Resident consents and agrees that Provider and College has permission to conduct criminal background checks on Resident.

  • Software Licenses Seller has all necessary licenses to use all material third-party software used in connection with the Purchased Assets, and to Sellers’ knowledge, Sellers’ use of third-party software does not infringe the rights of any Person or Entity.

  • Software License Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Viasat grants to you a personal, non-exclusive, non-assignable and non-transferable license to use and display the software provided by or on behalf of Viasat (including any updates) only for the purpose of accessing the Service ("Software") on any computer(s) on which you are the primary user or which you are authorized to use.
