Dues and Checkoff. 41 PSE/SEIU1948 shall provide the District with a full and complete list of bargaining unit employees who 42 are current members of PSE/SEIU1948, and shall provide updates, additions, and/or other changes in 43 membership status to the District upon request. The District agrees to accept dues authorizations via voice 44 authorization or by E-signature in accordance with “E-SIGN”. PSE/SEIU1948 will provide a list of those 45 members who have agreed to union membership via voice authorization. In addition, upon request, access 46 to the District to the .wav files associated with the voice authorization. PSE/SEIU1948 will be the 47 custodian of the records related to voice/E-signature authorizations.

Dues and Checkoff. All Employees covered by the terms of this Contract who are members of the Union shall be required to pay dues and assessments. Employees covered by this Contract are not required to join the Union or maintain Union membership as a condition of employment, but shall pay a service charge or fair share amount to the Union, not to exceed the normal Union dues for the purpose of negotiating and administering this Contract.

The district shall transmit all such funds 39 deducted to the Treasurer of Public School Employees of Washington on a monthly 40 basis. 42 B. The district shall deduct local dues monthly as established by the local PSE chapter and 43 remit the same to the Treasurer of the chapter by regular US mail. The district shall be 44 notified by September 1 of any year if there is a change to the amount of monthly dues. 47
