e—Executive/Management Coaching Services. Our senior consultants work closely with communications center directors, planning committees, council members, command staff, and agency executives to support change management and enhance leadership styles to best support operational enhancements and staff performance. We evaluate the current chain of command system, division of labor, span of control, and staffing levels. We use data from interviews, operational evaluations, and staffing analyses to better define how the organizational structure functions and recommend identified organizational changes to improve functionality. The FE team is thoroughly familiar with all facets of the public safety communications and dispatch environments, because we have been in senior leadership positions and have real world experience. Many FE consultants are former first responders and several members of our proposed team have served as leaders with city, county, and state government agencies.   • Executive Management The PH-MCO must include in its Executive Management structure: • A full-time Administrator with authority over the entire operation of the PH-MCO. • A full-time HealthChoices Program Manager to oversee the operation of the Agreement, if different than the Administrator. • A full-time Medical Director who is a current Pennsylvania-licensed physician. The Medical Director must be actively involved in all major clinical program components of the PH-MCO and directly participates in the oversight of the SNU, QM Department and UM Department. The Medical Director and his/her staff/consultant physicians must devote sufficient time to the PH-MCO to provide timely medical decisions, including after-hours consultation, as needed. • A full-time Pharmacy Director who is a current Pennsylvania-licensed pharmacist. The Pharmacy Director oversees the outpatient drug management and serves on the PH-MCO P&T Committee. • A Dental Director who is a current Pennsylvania-licensed Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery. The Dental Director may be a consultant or employee but must be available at a minimum of 30 hours per week. The Dental Director must be actively involved in all program components related to dental services including, but not limited to, dental provider recruitment strategy, assessment of dental network adequacy, providing oversight and strategic direction in the quality of dental services provided, actively engaged in the development and implementation of quality initiatives, and monitor the performance of the dental benefit manger if dental benefits are subcontracted. A full-time Director of Quality Management who is a Pennsylvania- licensed RN, physician or physician's assistant or is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality by the National Association for Healthcare Quality Certified in Healthcare Quality and Management by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Providers. The Director of Quality Management must be located in Pennsylvania and have experience in quality management and quality improvement. Sufficient local staffing under this position must be in place to meet QM Requirements. The primary functions of the Director of Quality Management position are: • Evaluate individual and systemic quality of care • Integrate quality throughout the organization • Implement process improvement • Resolve, track, and trend quality of care complaints • Develop and maintain a credentialed Provider network • A full-time CFO to oversee the budget and accounting systems implemented by the PH-MCO. The CFO must ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all financial reports. The CFO shall devote sufficient time and resources to responsibilities under this Agreement. • A full-time Information Systems Coordinator, who is responsible for the oversight of all information systems issues with the Department. The Information Systems Coordinator must have a good working knowledge of the PH-MCO's entire program and operation, as well as the technical expertise to answer questions related to the operation of the information system. • These full time positions must be solely dedicated to the PA HealthChoices Program.

  • Adaptive Management ‌ This CCAA is based on the principles of Adaptive Management set out in 65 Fed. Reg. at 35,242. The adaptive management process is a structured approach for dealing with uncertainty. The adaptive management process develops hypotheses regarding uncertainty and research to test those hypotheses in an iterative process to develop effective strategies for minimizing the uncertainty. The signatories to this CCAA agree and recognize that implementation of the Conservation Strategy objectives and criteria, Conservation Measures and Actions, and the Covered Area may change as new science emerges. The effectiveness of the Conservation Strategy objectives and criteria, Conservation Measures, Conservation Actions, monitoring methods, and new technologies will be reviewed by the Administrator on an annual basis, with input from the Adaptive Management Committee. The Adaptive Management Committee will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of Conservation Program under the 2020 DSL CCAA as described in Sections 2.0 and 16.1, including the effectiveness and implementation of the Conservation Strategy, Conservation Measures and Conservation Actions; setting priorities for DSL Habitat conservation and monitoring habitat loss; and recommending changes to any aspect of the Conservation Program based on new science. As a result, appropriate modifications to the Conservation Measures and Actions may be incorporated to further refine the goals and objectives of this 2020 DSL CCAA. Such modifications are incorporated into existing CIs, if they were identified in changed circumstances in the 2020 DSL CCAA. Modifications not related to changed circumstances identified in the 2020 DSL CCAA and instead related to unforeseen circumstances may be incorporated into new CIs that take effect after the modifications have been made and to existing CIs only with written consent from the Participants and Service. Additionally, research projects that are designed to determine the effectiveness of management practices will be encouraged and utilized to determine what Adaptive Management is necessary. Changes resulting from Adaptive Management will flow through the Governance structure as described in Section 2.0 of this CCAA.

  • Education services 1.1 Catholic education is intrinsic to the mission of the Church. It is one means by which the Church fulfils its role in assisting people to discover and embrace the fullness of life in Xxxxxx. Catholic schools offer a broad, comprehensive curriculum imbued with an authentic Catholic understanding of Xxxxxx and his teaching, as well as a lived appreciation of membership of the Catholic Church. Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) governs the operation of MACS schools and owns, governs and operates the School.

  • Autism Services This plan covers the following services for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders. • Applied behavior analysis when provided and/or supervised by an individual licensed by the state in which the service is rendered. See the Summary of Medical Benefits for the amount that you pay. • Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services when rendered as part of the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. A benefit limit will not apply to these services. • Psychological and psychiatric services, and prescription drugs are also covered. See Behavioral Health Services and Prescription Drugs and Diabetic Equipment or Supplies for additional information. Coverage for autism spectrum disorders does not affect any obligation of a school district, a state or other governmental entity to provide services to an individual under an individualized family service plan, an individualized education program, or similar services required under state or federal law. Services related to autism that are furnished by school personnel are not covered under this plan.

  • Career Services Placement assistance is not provided. It is understood that the School does not and cannot promise or guarantee neither employment nor level of income or wage rate to any Student or Graduate.

  • Medical Services Plan 10.1.1 Regular Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time Employees shall be entitled to be covered under the Medical Services Plan commencing the first day of the calendar month following the date of employment.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. Preauthorization may be required for certain surgical services. Reconstructive Surgery for a Functional Deformity or Impairment This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia. Preauthorization may be required for these services.

  • Project Management Plan 1 3.4.1 Developer is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control 2 activities necessary to manage the Work, including the Utility Adjustment Work.

  • Business Continuity Planning Supplier shall prepare and maintain at no additional cost to Buyer a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”). Upon written request of Buyer, Supplier shall provide a copy of Supplier’s BCP. The BCP shall be designed to ensure that Supplier can continue to provide the goods and/or services in accordance with this Order in the event of a disaster or other BCP-triggering event (as such events are defined in the applicable BCP). Supplier’s BCP shall, at a minimum, provide for: (a) the retention and retrieval of data and files; (b) obtaining resources necessary for recovery, (c) appropriate continuity plans to maintain adequate levels of staffing required to provide the goods and services during a disruptive event; (d) procedures to activate an immediate, orderly response to emergency situations; (e) procedures to address potential disruptions to Supplier’s supply chain; (f) a defined escalation process for notification of Buyer, within two (2) business days, in the event of a BCP-triggering event; and (g) training for key Supplier Personnel who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining Supplier’s continuity plans and records. Supplier shall maintain the BCP and test it at least annually or whenever there are material changes in Supplier’s operations, risks or business practices. Upon Xxxxx’s written and reasonable request, Supplier shall provide Buyer an executive summary of test results and a report of corrective actions (including the timing for implementation) to be taken to remedy any deficiencies identified by such testing. Upon Xxxxx’s request and with reasonable advance notice and conducted in such a manner as not to unduly interfere with Supplier’s operations, Supplier shall give Buyer and its designated agents access to Supplier’s designated representative(s) with detailed functional knowledge of Supplier’s BCP and relevant subject matter.

  • Counseling Services People choose to participate in counseling for a variety of reasons. For most, the purpose of counseling is to generally improve one’s overall quality of life by addressing issues of concern, such as anxiety, depression, marital difficulties, addiction, or grief. Individual experiences in counseling can be different, depending on factors such as the personalities of the client and therapist, the mode of counseling techniques that the therapist utilizes, the issue(s) being addressed, and the amount of effort that the client puts forth. Your initial sessions with Encourage Counseling Services will involve an evaluation of your needs. By the end of the evaluation, your therapist will be able to offer you some first impressions of what your work will include and a treatment plan to follow, if you decide to continue with therapy. You should evaluate this information along with your own opinions of whether you feel comfortable working with us. Therapy involves a commitment of time, money, and energy, so you should be very careful about the therapist you select. If you have questions about our procedures, you should discuss them with your therapist whenever they arise. If you wish, we will willingly provide you with referrals to other mental health professionals for a second opinion, as you always have the right to choose to continue to receive counseling services from us or to ask to be referred to someone else. Following the assessment period, which is typically one to two sessions, one 50-minute session will be scheduled per week. Sessions will occur at a time you and your therapist agree upon, although sessions may be scheduled more or less frequently according to your needs. It is important to note that if you are late to your appointment, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. It should be noted that therapy can have benefits, as well as potential risks. Since therapy oftentimes involves discussing difficult aspects of your life, you may experience uncomfortable feelings such as sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness, and helplessness. Making changes in your beliefs or behaviors can be anxiety provoking, and can be disruptive to your current relationships. However, therapy has also been shown to have many benefits. For example, therapy often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress. Of course, every individual’s experience is different and there are no guarantees of what you will experience. It is important that you carefully consider whether these risks are worth the benefits to you of changing. Most people who take these risks find that therapy is helpful. Finally, the therapeutic relationship is ended after the last scheduled appointment, or when so stated by you or your therapist. As the client, you typically will be the one who decides when therapy will end, which usually occurs once you and your therapist agree that you have met your treatment goals. However, there are a few exceptions. One such exception is if your therapist does not believe that he/she is professionally able to meet your needs. This could possibly be because your therapist does not believe that he/she holds the proper training and skills to help you, due to the type of presenting problem that you have. In such a situation your therapist will refer you to another therapist who may be able to meet your counseling needs.
