Earned Days Sample Clauses

Earned Days. If at the close of the preceding school year (July 31), an employee shall not have used more than two (2) sick leave days, including necessary business days, and shall have accumulated thirty (30) sick leave days, then, in the following year, the employee shall be entitled to one (1) “earned day” to be taken at the employee’s discretion upon previous notification of 24 hours to the employee’s immediate supervisor. If more than one (1) bargaining unit position exists in the building, the building administrator shall not be obligated to grant more than one (1) such application on any given day. Earned days shall be allowed to accumulate up to a maximum of five (5) days at the rate of one (1) day per year (August 1 – July 31).

Earned Days. At the start of the school year, all teachers shall earn Sick Leave and Personal Leave at a rate of seventeen (17) days for service in the employment of the school district. Equivalent unit is the number of hours worked per day by a teacher who is not full time as defined in ARTICLE III, Section 2, of this Agreement. The number of sick and personal days will be based on the teachers current year of service according to the following:
Earned Days. Kwoen employees shall receive no earned days off.
Earned Days. All full-time teachers shall earn 12 days of PTO each school year. These days will be considered earned PTO and shall be advanced to the teacher at the beginning of the school year.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.
