Effective Date of Pay Increase. Changes in salary and related benefits for promotions, demotions and acting pay changes are effective on the actual effective date of the action. All other salary and related benefit changes are effective on the first day of the pay period closest to the actual effective date of the action.
Effective Date of Pay Increase. Notwithstanding any other provision contained in this MOU, changes to the salary range and salary-related benefit changes are effective on the first day of the payroll period closest to the effective date stated herein. If the effective date falls on the Sunday in the middle of a pay period, the effective date shall be the first day of the following payroll period.
Effective Date of Pay Increase. It is agreed that the effective date of any pay increases will be on the date of promotion or reclassification, or as agreed in the Collective Agreement.

Effective Date of Pay Increase. 1. All negotiated pay increases and salary related benefit increases specified in this MOU shall become effective on the first day of the pay period closest to the date stated in subsections C, D and E below, except that when such date falls on the Sunday in the middle of the pay period, increases shall become effective on the first day of the pay period immediately following said effective date.
2. Periodic step increases and increases resulting from promotion shall become effective on the first day of the pay period in which they are due.
Effective Date of Pay Increase. A merit-pay advancement for an employee shall become effective on the first day of the pay period in which the minimum length of service has been satisfactorily completed. Any other mid-pay period payroll adjustments will occur at the beginning of the pay period in which the adjustment falls for all odd numbered calendar years; and, at the beginning of the following pay period for the even number calendar years. When an employee is promoted to a position in a higher classification, such employee shall be assigned to step “a” in the appropriate schedule for the higher classification. However, if such employee is already being paid at a rate equal to or higher than step “A”, he/she shall be placed in the step in the appropriate salary schedule which will grant such employee a salary increase of not less than 5%. Effective upon ratification of the MOU and Council approval of the successor MOU in accordance with the Brown Act, the salary range for each classification in this Unit shall be readjusted by 3.0%. Effective the first full pay period of July 2025, the salary range for each classification in this Unit shall be readjusted by 3.0%. Effective the first full pay period of July 2026, the salary range for each classification in this Unit shall be readjusted by 3.0%.
Effective Date of Pay Increase. All negotiated pay increases and salary related benefit increases specified in this Agreement shall become effective at the beginning of the first pay period of the fiscal year indicated unless otherwise specified herein.
