3.1.2 Order functions that are available on a dial-up or dedicated basis using CONNECT: Mail file transfer.
3.1.3 Initial trouble reports via SIGS.
3.1.4 Electronic transfer of the SETI xxxx in electronic data 811 format.
3.2 SETI may migrate to fully interactive system to system interconnectivity. GTE, with input from SETI and other carriers, shall provide general interface specifications for electronic access to this functionality. These specifications will be provided to enable SETI to design system interface capabilities. Development will be in accordance with applicable national standards committee guidelines. Such interfaces will be available as expeditiously as possible.
3.3 All costs and expenses for any new or modified electronic interfaces exclusively to meet SETI requirements that GTE determines are Currently Available and GTE agrees to develop will be paid by SETI.

Costs for development of systems intended for common use by competing carriers will be assessed based on a mutually agreed method of cost recovery.

Electronic Interface. 2.6.1 Verizon Wireless shall use, where available, the appropriate Verizon electronic interface, through which Verizon Wireless shall input and provide a daily update (or as necessary) of 911/E-911 database information related to appropriate cell/sector location information associated with each face of the cellsite. In those areas where an electronic interface is not available, Verizon Wireless shall provide Verizon with all appropriate 911/E-911 information via facsimile for Verizon’s entry into the 911/E-911 database system. Any 911/E-911 related data exchanged between the Parties prior to the availability of an electronic interface shall conform to Verizon standards, whereas 911/E-911-related data exchanged electronically shall conform to the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) standards. In the event Verizon Wireless utilizes a third party service provider for such 911/E-911 database connectivity (“Database Vendor”), Verizon Wireless shall provide Verizon with a letter of authorization designating such Database Vendor.

Z-Tel shall use, where available, the appropriate Verizon electronic interface, through which Z-Tel shall input and provide a daily update of 911/E-911 database information related to appropriate Z-Tel Customers. In those areas where an electronic interface is not available, Z-Tel shall provide Verizon with all appropriate 911/E-911 information such as name, address, and telephone number via facsimile for Verizon’s entry into the 911/E- 911 database system. Any 911/E-911-related data exchanged between the Parties prior to the availability of an electronic interface shall conform to Verizon standards, whereas 911/E-911-related data exchanged electronically shall conform to the National Emergency Number Association standards (“NENA”). Z-Tel may also use the electronic interface, where available, to query the 911/E-911 database to verify the accuracy of Z- Tel Customer information.
