Eligibility and Purpose. Employees must have completed five fully compensated academic years of service to the College as a bargaining unit member since their initial appointment or termination of a previously granted sabbatical leave, before applying for a sabbatical leave. When awarding a sabbatical leave, the faculty member must have completed six (6) fully compensated academic years of service. Sabbatical leaves are granted for the purpose of relevant professional growth and promoting scholarship that contributes to the mission and vision of the College. A sabbatical leave provides a unique opportunity for faculty to engage in research; improve and/or update professional standards in one’s academic discipline; expand repertoire of effective teaching/learning strategies; advance assessment of student learning outcomes; and provide an opportunity for reflection and renewal.

Eligibility and Purpose. A. The Grantee has applied to the Commission for this consumptive use mitigation grant and the application is incorporated herein by reference. The full description of the project is provided as Attachment A, Scope of Work. The Commission has determined that the Grantee is eligible to receive the grant amount listed in Section II.A. B. The Grantee may not use funds for goods, services or labor not specified in Attachment B, Budget provided to the Commission. Provided the grant award in Section II.A does not change, this Budget can be amended by the Commission’s Director of Administration and Finance as long as the amendment approval is in writing. Under no circumstances will any funding be provided for ineligible expenses as outlined in the grant program guidelines.

The data reporting required by Section IV(A) must be commenced as soon as possible after the installations or improvements are complete, but, in any case, no later than January 30, 2024, per the extended authority granted to the Commission under Section IV(A) and (G). Requests for extensions must be submitted to the Commission in writing; any approvals will be granted by the Commission at its discretion and in writing. Breach of any of the individual provisions of these paragraphs I(B) and I(C) renders the Grantee subject to any of the penalties identified in Sections IV(B) and IV(C) and constitutes grounds for revocation of the grant award.

Eligibility and Purpose. Each member of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Dresser Industries, Inc. (the "Company") who is not an employee of the Company or its subsidiaries shall be eligible to participate in the Dresser Industries, Inc. Deferred Compensation Plan for Non-employee Directors (the "Plan"). Any such member who elects to participate in the Plan (the "Director") shall thereby defer the receipt of all or any portion of the annual cash or stock retainer, meeting and committee fees payable by the Company to such member for serving as a member of the Board or one or more of its committees.

Eligible costs include goods, services and labor necessary to achieve the purpose of the grant, stated above in recital E, including, but not limited to, direct project implementation costs in addition to select indirect costs such as contracting services, expansion of partnerships, equipment rentals and purchase, and food purchasing for volunteer outreach events. C. Ineligible costs include routine regulatory obligations, land development projects, lobbying, litigation, fees for securing other financing or associated with bad debts, interest on borrowed funds, illegal activities or substances, costs associated with personal expenses of board members and/or officers/staff, application preparation fees, and other costs incurred prior to the award of grant funds. D. The Grantee must use funds for specific, eligible goods, services or labor identified in the application provided to the Commission and incorporated by reference into this agreement. Any modification to the goods, services or labor identified in the application must be requested from the Commission in writing; approval must be obtained, in writing, from the Commission before said modifications will be considered finalized and may be implemented. Under no circumstances will reimbursement be provided for ineligible or unapproved expenses. E. The Grantee must commence the project identified in its application within a reasonable amount of time. Said project must subsequently be completed without unreasonable delay, but in any case, no later than December 31, 2024. Requests for extensions must be submitted to the Commission in writing; any approvals will be granted by the Commission at its discretion and in writing. Breach of any of the individual provisions of these paragraphs I(D) and I(E) renders the Grantee subject to any of the penalties identified in paragraphs IV(C) – (F) and constitutes grounds for revocation of the grant award.
