Emergency Medical Coverage. The following minimum emergency medical coverage will be provided to all Contractor Personnel while present in British Columbia in order to work on the Project, and when travelling to and from the Site from outside British Columbia. The Contractor will, within 120 days of the Effective Date, submit to Hydro’s Representative for Review an “Emergency Medical Services” manual describing how the Contractor will provide the following minimum emergency medical coverage: emergency medical treatment for accidental injuries or illness requiring immediate medical care; and emergency medical transportation and convalescence, including: (i) medical transportation arrangements to transfer the worker to and from the nearest appropriate medical facility in the worker’s home province or country of residence; (ii) if medically necessary, round trip transportation for an attendant to accompany and care for the worker; (iii) if the worker is unable to travel due to medical reasons after being discharged from a medical facility, expenses incurred for meals and accommodations until medical transport to the worker’s place of permanent residence can take place up to a maximum of $2,000; and (iv) if a worker dies while travelling to or from the Site for work purposes from outside British Columbia or while living at or near the Site for work purposes, then: (A) provide transportation for one family member of the worker’s immediate family to identify the body prior to its release if necessary, including reasonable reimbursement for the cost of accommodation and meals for the family member; and (B) obtain all necessary authorizations and make all necessary arrangements to transport the body to the worker’s place of permanent residence, up to a maximum of $7,000. This coverage is in addition to WorkSafeBC regulations from employers regarding injuries or deaths in the workplace.

  • Medical Coverage The Executive shall be entitled to such continuation of health care coverage as is required under, and in accordance with, applicable law or otherwise provided in accordance with the Company’s policies. The Executive shall be notified in writing of the Executive’s rights to continue such coverage after the termination of the Executive’s employment pursuant to this Section 3(d)(iv), provided that the Executive timely complies with the conditions to continue such coverage. The Executive understands and acknowledges that the Executive is responsible to make all payments required for any such continued health care coverage that the Executive may choose to receive.

  • Dental Coverage Each employee covered by this agreement shall be eligible to participate in the City's dental program.

  • Health and Dental Coverage A dependent child is an eligible employee’s child to age twenty-six (26).

  • Medical and Dental Coverage The County and Union agree that this Memorandum of Understanding shall be reopened at the County's request to meet and confer to discuss and mutually agree upon changes related to the Medical and Dental Plans, benefits, and contribution rates.

  • General Coverages All of Tenant’s Agents shall carry worker’s compensation insurance covering all of their respective employees, and shall also carry public liability insurance, including property damage, all with limits, in form and with companies as are required to be carried by Tenant as set forth in the Lease.

  • Insurance or Other Medical Coverage Patient acknowledges and understands that this Agreement is not an insurance plan, and not a substitute for health insurance or other health plan coverage (such as membership in an HMO). It will not cover hospital services, or any services not personally provided by Direct Doctors. Patient acknowledges that Direct Doctors has advised that patient obtain or keep in full force such health insurance policy(s) or plans that will cover Patient for general healthcare costs. Patient acknowledges that this Agreement is not a contract that provides health insurance, and this Agreement is not intended to replace any existing or future health insurance or health plan coverage that Patient may carry.

  • Travel Accident Insurance We agree to provide you with Travel Accident Insurance at no direct cost to you. You, your spouse and unmarried dependent children will be automatically insured against accidental bodily injuries or death while riding in any aircraft or land or water conveyance operated by a common carrier licensed to carry passengers for hire provided the full travel fare(s) has been charged to your Account. Death benefits will be paid to the estate of the insured; all other benefits will be paid to the insured. This insurance is subject to cancellation without prior notice. You understand and agree that the Certificate of Insurance controls all insurance terms and conditions to the exclusion of any statements made in this Agreement regarding limitations, exclusions, and claims procedures.

  • All Coverages Each insurance policy required in this item shall be endorsed to state that coverage shall not be suspended, voided, cancelled, reduced in coverage or in limits except after thirty (30) days' prior written notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, has been given to the Town. Current certification of such insurance shall be kept on file at all times during the term of this agreement with the Town Clerk.

  • Workplace Safety Insurance 20.1 Each member covered by this Agreement who is absent on account of injuries received while on duty and who is receiving a pension, salary or wage award from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board shall be entitled to be paid the difference between the pension wage and salary award from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and his or her current net salary as long as such member remains in the employ of the Niagara Police Board. This shall be applied such that the combination of any WSIB salary or wage award plus the employer top-up shall, in total, equal the net pay of the member's current salary. The non- economic loss portion of any WSIB pension payments shall not be considered as being a salary or wage award, and hence shall not form part of these calculations. Any member who does not comply with the provisions of the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act or Regulations thereto and subsequently receives a salary or wage award or an amount less than the prevailing maximum payable, due to such non-compliance, shall not receive from the Niagara Police Board the difference between the wage or salary award paid by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board and his or her current net salary. For the purpose of this Clause, net pay shall be the pay for the rank of the member as shown in Appendix "A" less those deductions required under Government Statutes, pension plans and as provided for in this Agreement. 20.2 Subject to the terms of this Article, each member covered by this Agreement who is injured as a result of carrying out his/her duties shall not be deprived of his/her vacations or statutory holidays as a result thereof, and shall accumulate such vacation credits and statutory holidays as he/she might otherwise receive. 20.2.1 Each member shall be entitled to accumulate the float time that he/she might otherwise receive for a period of three (3) months following the injury. 20.2.2 In respect of members who have been off work and receiving WSIB benefits for less than two

  • Safety Policy The City agrees to maintain in safe working condition all facilities and equipment furnished by the City to carry out the duties of each bargaining unit position, but reserves the right to determine what those facilities and equipment shall be.
