Employee Requested Additional Days. Employees may apply to the Employer to work their normal rostered day/s off, on an Employee Requested basis. Such applications by the Employee shall be made in writing and the Employer may accept or decline such applications based on the availability of work and/or the skills of the Employee. Hours worked in excess of twelve (12) hours in a day on the Employee Requested Additional day/s shall be paid as Overtime hours.

Employee Requested Additional Days. By mutual agreement between the Employee and the Employer, Employees may work up to twelve (12) consecutive days, on the condition that the consecutive days fit within the roster cycle and such days worked shall be Employee Requested Additional Days and paid at the relevant normal All Inclusive Hourly rate. Should the Employer authorise the Employee to work consecutive days in excess of twelve (12) days then the Employee shall be paid overtime rates in accordance with clause 4.4 for those hours worked on the thirteenth (13th) and ensuing consecutive days. In any circumstance where an Employee has worked ten (10) consecutive days then Operations and the Employee shall confer to check whether the Employee will continue in accordance with this clause. Employee requested additional days do not include work required to be carried out in accordance with clause 4.2.2 to ensure the operational requirements of the Employer are met.

  • Employee Requests To reduce the impact of a layoff, an employee may request a voluntary layoff, leave without pay, a reduction in compensation, reduction in hours of work, or movement to a funded, vacant exempt position for which the employee is qualified. If it is necessary to limit the number of employees who are on unpaid leave at the same time, the President, reporting Vice President, or designee, in consultation with the Associate Vice President for Human Resource Services and/or designee, will determine who will be granted a leave without pay and/or reduction in hours based upon business and staffing needs. The decision regarding whether to move an employee to a vacant exempt position is discretionary with the College.

  • Non-Business Days If an Interest Period would otherwise end on a day which is not a Business Day, that Interest Period will instead end on the next Business Day in that calendar month (if there is one) or the preceding Business Day (if there is not).

  • Employee must give notice 7.2.6(a) The employee must, as soon as reasonably practicable and during the ordinary hours of the first day or shift of such absence, inform the employer or their inability to attend for duty and as far as practicable state the nature of the injury, illness or emergency and the estimated duration of the absence.   • Special Requests Additional Services will be considered by request and billed separately: -Waxing -Shampooing of rugs and carpets -Additional Cleaning of areas or additional cleaning services not quoted in the Master Agreement’s Schedule, Building Areas and Janitorial Standards, and/or “Scope of Work” per agency.
