Escapes. In the event of an escape by a Contract Agency's inmate from the County jail, the Contract Agency will be notified by telephone or fax with a follow-up in writing as soon as practical. The County will have the primary authority to direct the investigation and to pursue the inmate within its jurisdiction. Any costs related to the investigation and pursuit within its jurisdiction will be the responsibility of the County. The County will not be required to pursue and return the Contract Agency's escaped inmates from outside of the County.
Escapes. Whoever departs without lawful authority from custody while in another state under the agreement on detainers is considered to have escaped and may be punished as provided in section 609.485, subdivision 4.
Escapes. In the event of an escape by a CDCR Offender(s) from the Facility’s physical custody, the CONTRACTOR shall, in addition to efforts to apprehend such CDCR Offender, immediately notify the CDCR Administrative Officer of the Day, CDCR I.D./Warrants Unit, and the local law enforcement agencies as required by state statute in the same manner it uses for any other Facility escapees.
Escapes. The Service Provider shall take all appropriate measures to prevent escapes. The Service Provider shall notify the COTR and Alternate COTR immediately if an escape or an attempted escape has occurred. The Service Provider shall provide the COTR and alternate COTR with a written report prior to the end of the shift. The Service Provider shall be held to the following standards concerning escapes:
1. The Service Provider assumes absolute liability for the escape of any detainee in its control, subject to limitations delineated in item 5 below.
2. The Service Provider shall provide written policies and procedures regarding the actions to be taken in the event of an escape. This document must include reporting requirements for all contract employees, escorts, supervisors, and management personnel. These procedures must meet the approval of the COTR, be reviewed at least annually, and updated as necessary.
3. Escapes shall be grounds for removing the responsible Service Provider Employee(s) from duty if the Service Provider Employee(s) is/are determined by the Service Provider or the COTR to be negligent. Notice of removal shall be provided to the Contracting Officer.
4. Corrective actions to prevent future escapes or attempted escapes shall be taken immediately and verbally communicated to the COTR for approval. A written report of the remedial action shall be due to the COTR within 24 hours of an escape or attempted escape.
5. ICE may make deductions due to nonperformance. It is specifically understood and agreed that the Government may not reduce the Service Provider’s invoice or otherwise withhold payment from or impose any financial penalty upon the Service Provider based upon walk-aways or escapes from the facility, unless such walk-aways or escapes are the result of the Service Provider’s gross negligence, it being understood and agreed that this is not a secure facility.
Escapes. Contractor shall fully comply with PFB 6.2.422 Escapes, which is incorporated by reference, as existing at the time of execution of this Contract and as amended at any time during the Contract term.
Escapes. Escapes are optical or physical non-conformities that have been missed during the material inspection process. Goal: "Escapes" are not to exceed 3%.

Escapes. In the event Supplier discovers a non-conformance that affects Products already shipped or Services performed, Supplier shall promptly notify MDT. Supplier shall fully cooperate with all investigation and containment actions. Supplier shall reimburse all costs and expenses incurred by MDT in connection with use of Nonconforming Product. MDT may return all nonconforming Products to Supplier, at Supplier's expenses.
Escapes. In the event any CITY inmate escapes from Sunnyside’s custody, Sunnyside will use all reasonable means to recapture the inmate. The escape shall be reported immediately to CITY. Sunnyside shall have the primary responsibility for and authority to direct the pursuit and retaking of the inmate or inmates within its own territory. Any cost in connection therewith shall be chargeable to and borne by Sunnyside; however, Sunnyside shall not be required to expend unreasonable amounts to pursue and return inmates from other counties, states or other countries.
Escapes. In the event any City inmate escapes from Chelan County’s custody, Chelan County will use all reasonable means to recapture the inmate. The escape shall be reported immediately to the City. Chelan County shall have the primary responsibility for and authority to direct the pursuit and retaking of the inmate or inmates within its own territory. Any cost in connection therewith shall be chargeable to and borne by Chelan County; however, Chelan County shall not be required to expend unreasonable amounts to pursue and return inmates from other counties, states or countries.
Escapes. In the event any Federal Way inmate shall escape from Puyallup’s custody, Puyallup will use all reasonable means to recapture the inmate. The escape shall be reported immediately to Federal Way. Puyallup shall have the primary responsibility for and authority to direct the pursuit and retaking of the inmate or inmates within its own jurisdiction. Any cost in connection therewith shall be chargeable to and borne by Puyallup, however, Puyallup shall not be required to expend unreasonable amounts to pursue escaped inmates beyond its jurisdiction.
