Field Test. Once the Equipment is installed and operational, Pathnet shall test each path pursuant to the following field tests to ensure performance of the Equipment over the designated path in accordance with the criteria and standards set forth in this Schedule A.
Field Test. Prior to commencing the overlay operation, place a test area of overlay on the concrete surface. Prepare the area for the test overlay as described above. Ensure that the test is large enough so that the cleaning equipment and methods to be employed in the full-scale operation can be used for the field test. Ensure that the degree of cleaning used on the test area is the minimum used on the remainder of the structure. Use the application of the overlay system to the test area to establish proper procedures and techniques for applying the overlay to the full structure. After the test area has cured for 72 hours, check adhesion in accordance with ACI 503R-1980. Test a minimum of three sample areas. Ensure that no adhesion test has an adhesive strength less than 250 psi (1725kPa) and that the minimum average value for the 3 tests is greater than 300 psi (2070kPa). If the test of a sample area fails to meet the above requirements due to a cohesive failure of the concrete substrate, the adhesive strength of the sample area will be considered acceptable. Successful completion of the adhesive strength tests will be required before the full-scale overlay operation is to begin.
Field Test. Comverge shall provide Gulf with *** prototype Thermostat IIs (“Prototypes”) by the end of the first quarter of 2006. Gulf shall have a *** days after delivery of the Prototypes in which to conduct field tests of the Prototypes, which shall, in Gulf’s scale good faith judgment, include such tests and procedures as it believes are necessary and reasonable under the circumstances (“Field Tests”). On completion of the Field Tests, Gulf shall promptly notify Comverge in writing and in the manner required by the Original Agreement whether it accepts or rejects the Prototypes. Gulf will consider customer acceptance and usability as part of the fieldtest if Gulf, in its good faith judgment reasonably exercised, rejects the Prototypes it shall specify in writing and in reasonable detail the deficiency or deficiencies that resulted in the rejection. Comverge shall then have thirty (30) days to cure any deficiency and resubmit the Prototypes to Gulf for additional field testing.
Field Test. 1. On or before 30 days from the date hereof, Xxxxxx shall provide Chromatics with samples and specifications of basic Foundation Product Formulations to be included in the Field Test, which Foundation Product Formulations must be approved by Chromatics. Chromatics shall be entitled to unilaterally terminate this agreement without penalty pursuant to Article VI hereof by written notice to Xxxxxx if such basic Foundation Product Formulations have not been delivered by Xxxxxx and approved by Chromatics within 60 days of the date hereof. Upon approval, Chromatics shall perform chromaticity studies at Chromatics' expense on the sample to determine the appropriate color compatibilities ("Chromaticity Studies"). Upon completion of the Chromaticity Studies (approximately three (3) months), Chromatics shall provide to Xxxxxx a written report of Foundation Product Color Formulations which report and Foundation Product Color Formulations shall remain the property of Chromatics. Promptly following receipt of such written report (but in no event later than 30 days from such receipt, plus an additional 30 days grace period), Xxxxxx shall provide to Chromatics, for review and approval by Chromatics, such number of samples and reformulation of each Foundation Product Formulation as Chromatics may request, until such samples shall meet Chromatics' specifications for the Foundation Product Color Formulations (the "Final Samples"). Xxxxxx shall not manufacture quantities of any Foundation Cosmetic Products unless and until it has received written notice from Chromatics that, based on the Final Samples, all Foundation Product Formulations meet Chromatics, specifications. Chromatics shall give, Xxxxxx the Ship Notice within 30 days (plus an additional 15 days grace period) of Chromatics receipt of the Final Samples. If Xxxxxx fails to deliver and have available twenty (20) Custom Blended Foundation Cosmetic Product Dispensing Systems by the date of the Ship Notice, or fails to provide Chromatics within thirty (30) days (plus an additional 30 days grace period) following delivery to Xxxxxx of the written report regarding the Chromaticity Studies (but in no event later than the date of the Ship Notice) with Final Samples for all Foundation Product Formulations that meet Chromatic's specifications, Chromatics shall have the right, to unilaterally terminate this Agreement pursuant to Article VI hereof without penalty or liability to either party by written notice to Xxxxxx. Field Test. A trial installation of the INSTILL Core VIP drop-in hatch assembly was performed at a home under construction in the NAHB Research Center Home Park in Bowie, Maryland. The hatch used a 1" DOW INSTILL Core VIP, sheathed on the ceiling side with 1/2" gypsum board and on the attic side with 1/4" plywood. A 3/4" x 1" strip of wood was installed around the perimeter of the assembly. The same panel could be modified to accept a Xxxxxx VIP instead of the DOW product. One potential disadvantage of this type of assembly is its approximately 15 pound weight. The following photographs show the steps in the installation process. After a proper size rough opening was cut through the ceiling drywall, molding was attached around the perimeter. Two and one-quarter inch finger-jointed colonial casing was mounted through the ceiling surface into the attic framing using 2-1/2" trim head screws. The molding provided edge support for the panel. Field Test. Prior to commencing the overlay operation, place a full depth overlay test area on the concrete surface of each bridge in this project. Prepare the area for the test overlay as described above. Ensure that the test is large enough so that the cleaning equipment and methods to be employed in the full-scale operation can be used for the field test. Ensure that the degree of cleaning used on the test area meets (ICRI) CSP-4 minimum. The application of the overlay system to the test area should be used to establish proper procedures and techniques for applying the overlay to the full structure. After the test area has cured for 72 hours, the contractor will check adhesion in accordance with ASTM C 1583 (Pull Out Method). Test a minimum of three sample areas in the presence of the Engineer. Ensure that no adhesion test has an adhesive strength less than 250 psi (1.7 MPa) and that the minimum average value for the 3 tests is greater than 300 psi (2.0 MPa). Do not perform tensile test when surface temperature is at or above 90°F (32°C). Ensure that the polymer overlay thickness meets requirements of 519.3.02.C. Ensure that aggregate is broadcast evenly into polymer until refusal and that no epoxy blead through is present. If the Field Test of a sample area fails to meet the above requirements due to a cohesive failure of the concrete substrate, thickness of epoxy polymer overlay, or epoxy polymer bleed through is present, the sample area will be considered unacceptable. Successful completion of the Field test will be required before beginning full-scale overlay operations.
