Fitness Equipment. Memorandum of Understanding between the City and the Fitchburg Police Union for fitness equipment: The City agreed to purchase and subsequently installed fitness equipment at a cost of $25,000 in 2016. The City agrees to budget $2,500 annually for upkeep and new equipment. The Union agrees to forego the contractual $2,500 annual payment for equipment upgrades for FY 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Said payment shall resume in FY 2020.
Section 5.1 Definition
Fitness Equipment. The City will select, in consultation with the Operator, and provide all fitness equipment in the Facility and will maintain such equipment in accordance with specifications provided by the manufacturer.
Fitness Equipment. Generally, fitness equipment is defined to include any machine, apparatus, or item that would be available for use by the member at a health/fitness club or through an organized fitness group, course, or program. Fitness equipment is defined to include specialty shoes (for activities such as running, bicycling or hiking) that are specifically designed and promoted by the manufacturer as serving a limited, athletic, and not general, purpose; no other apparel shall be eligible for this benefit.
Fitness Equipment. purchase or rental of exercise equipment (such as treadmills, exercise bikes, universal gyms and weights). specialized sports equipment (such as skates, bikes, non-motorized boats, rackets and clubs). fishing gear and supplies, camping gear, tents and sleeping bags. jogging or cycling strollers. specialized athletic footwear (such as running shoes, golf shoes and swim fins). fitness-related apparel (such as running jackets, cycling shorts and swim caps). athletic safety equipment (such as helmets, eye protection and mouthguards). fitness tracking tools (including watches) and heart-rate monitors. fitness consoles and accessories, DVDs and downloadable work-out videos. Health products and services weight management programs (excluding food). nutrition programs and counselling. cholesterol and hypertension screening. smoking cessation programs and products. services provided by iridologists, herbalists, Chinese medical practitioners and acupressurists. other alternative wellness services (such as Reiki, Rolfing and light therapy). stress management programs. first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training. health, fitness or lifestyle assessments. vitamins and supplements, including herbal products. sleeping aids (such as orthopaedic mattresses and pillows, darkening blinds, white noise machines and ear plugs). medical alert products and services. personal care items (such as heating pads, thermometers, sunscreen, teeth whitening kits and denture products). life coach services or fees for spiritual or wellness retreats (excludes the cost of travel and accommodations). cosmetic procedures (such as Botox, dermabrasion and tattoo removal). health-related apps, software and programs. day-spa services (such as baths, saunas and aesthetic treatments).

Fitness Equipment. The Fire and Rescue Department’s (FRD) fitness equipment is ordered, installed, and maintained under the authority of the Fitness Program Manager and the Fitness Program Working Group. This includes fitness equipment for all fire stations, the Fire and Rescue Academy, or other facilities that FRD personnel are subject to staff.
Fitness Equipment. Service Provider is not responsible for cleaning fitness equipment at any site.
Fitness Equipment. This is not an exhaustive list of eligible expenses and the parties agree to meet and review any requests for reimbursement should a dispute arise. It is agreed that receipts are required for reimbursement, and that medical documentation to support an expense as described in Clause 26.9(a) is required. The Employer agrees to reimburse expenses once per calendar year at the end of that calendar year and will send out an invitation for submissions after November 1 of each year. The parties agree that the above noted rates will be prorated based on the length of paid employment in that calendar year.
