Geofiltering. The Content Protection System shall take affirmative, reasonable measures to restrict access to Licensor’s content to within the territory in which the content has been licensed.

Without limiting the foregoing, Licensee shall utilize geofiltering technology in connection with each Customer Transaction that is designed to limit distribution of Included Programs to Customers in the Territory, and which consists of (i) for IP-based delivery systems, IP address look-up to check for IP address within the Territory and (ii) either (A) with respect to any Customer who has a credit card on file with the Licensed Service, Licensee shall confirm that the country code of the bank or financial institution issuing such credit card corresponds with a geographic area that is located within the Territory, with Licensee only to permit a delivery if the country code of the bank or financial institution issuing such credit card corresponds with a geographic area that is located within the Territory or (B) with respect to any Customer who does not have a credit card on file with the Licensed Service, Licensee will require such Customer to enter his or her home address (as part of the Customer Transaction) and will only permit the Customer Transaction if the address that the Customer supplies is within the Territory. Network Service Protection Requirements. All licensed content must be received and stored at content processing and storage facilities in a protected and encrypted format using an industry standard protection system. Document security policies and procedures shall be in place. Documentation of policy enforcement and compliance shall be continuously maintained. Access to content in unprotected format must be limited to authorized personnel and auditable records of actual access shall be maintained. Physical access to servers must be limited and controlled and must be monitored by a logging system. Auditable records of access, copying, movement, transmission, backups, or modification of content must be securely stored for a period of at least one year. Content servers must be protected from general internet traffic by “state of the art” protection systems including, without limitation, firewalls, virtual private networks, and intrusion detection systems. 4.2. Licensee shall periodically review the geofiltering tactics and perform upgrades to the Content Protection System to maintain “state of the art” geofiltering capabilities.
Geofiltering. Licensee shall use geofiltering technology that is designed to restrict access to Included Programs to within the Territory. Licensee shall make sure the IP address mapping data used by such geofiltering technology is updated on at least a monthly basis.

2. Licensee shall periodically review the geofiltering tactics and perform upgrades to the Licensee Security System to maintain “state of the art” geofiltering capabilities.
3. Without limiting the foregoing, Licensee shall utilize geofiltering technology in connection with each Customer Transaction that is designed to limit distribution of Included Programs to Customers in the Territory, and which may include without limitation: (i) IP address look-up to check for IP address within the Territory, and (ii) confirming that the Customer’s billing zip code is within the Territory (subsections (i) and (ii) together, the “Geofiltering Technology).
Geofiltering. Licensee must utilize an industry standard geolocation service to verify that a Customer is located in the applicable Territory and such service must: provide geographic location information based on DNS registrations, WHOIS databases and Internet subnet mapping; provide geolocation bypass detection technology designed to detect IP addresses located in the applicable Territory, but being used by Registered Users outside the applicable Territory; and use such geolocation bypass detection technology to detect known web proxies, DNS-based proxies and other forms of proxies, anonymizing services and VPNs which have been created for the primary intent of bypassing geo-restrictions. Licensee shall use such information about Registered User IP addresses as provided by the industry standard geolocation service to prevent access to Included Programs from Registered Users outside the applicable Territory. Both geolocation data and geolocation bypass data must be updated no less frequently than every two (2) weeks. Licensee shall periodically review the effectiveness of its geofiltering measures (or those of its provider of geofiltering services) and perform upgrades as necessary so as to maintain effective geofiltering capabilities. In addition to IP-based geofiltering methods, Licensee shall, with respect to any customer who has a credit card or other payment instrument (e.g. mobile phone xxxx or e-payment system) on file with the Licensed Service, confirm that the payment instrument was set up for a user within the applicable Territory or, with respect to any customer who does not have a credit card or other payment instrument on file with the Licensed Service, Licensee will require such customer to enter his or her home address and will only permit service if the address that the customer supplies is within the applicable Territory. Licensee shall perform these checks at the time of each transaction for transaction-based services and at the time of registration for subscription-based services, and at any time that the Customer switches to a different payment instrument.

Without limiting the foregoing, Licensee shall utilize geofiltering technology in connection with each Customer Transaction that is designed to limit distribution of Included Programs to Customers in the Territory, and which consists of (i) IP address look-up to check for IP address within the Territory, and (unless the service is free) (ii) a non-IP based geofiltering mechanism, such as checking that the institution which provided a user credit card or bank account is in Territory..
Geofiltering. Comcast must utilize an industry standard geolocation service to verify that an Approved Device is located in the Territory (it being agreed that, for playback of Electronic Downloaded Included Programs then-resident on an Approved Device, Comcast is not required to verify such geolocation for playback). Comcast shall take affirmative, reasonable measures to restrict access to Included Programs to within the Territory (it being agreed that, for playback of Electronic Downloaded Included Programs then-resident on an Approved Device, Comcast is not required to verify such geolocation for playback). These affirmative and reasonable measures shall include using the geofiltering service to block known proxies, VPNs and other circumvention services. Comcast shall periodically review the effectiveness of its geofiltering measures (or those of its provider of geofiltering services) and perform upgrades as necessary so as to maintain effective geofiltering capabilities.
Geofiltering. Geofiltering requirements will apply and will be derived from existing geofiltering requirements, with adaptation as required. Network Service Protection requirements will apply and will be derived from existing network service protection requirements, with adaptation as required. Users must be Subscribers with an active account (an “Account”) prior to entering into a Subscriber Transaction for 4K Programs from the Licensed Service on a VOD or PPV basis. All Accounts must be protected via account credentials consisting of at least a user id and password. The 4K Program must be bound to one Approved 4K Device and the playback license is not transferable from one device to another. , subject to the terms of Attachment A-1. A domain bind, where single user key is shared among multiple devices in a domain, is NOT permitted. Any Subscriber may play back any 4K Programs on the Approved 4K Device (for example, in the case where User A and User B each purchase 4K Programs on the same device). Only one playback license may be distributed for each Subscriber Transaction on a VOD or PPV basis of a 4K Program [Note: Need to discuss. We don’t understand why viewing is limited to one playback – it should be unlimited viewing during a 48-hour period]; provided however, that an additional license may be distributed in the event of a bona fide, substantiated technical failure that renders a validly acquired 4K Program unviewable. Licensee will monitor re-issuance of licenses to detect fraudulent activity. The 4K Program may be viewed solely during the applicable Viewing Period. Cryptography AES 128 used for delivery to Genie servers, storage on Genie servers and for streaming to RVU UltraHD clients. Best practices are followed for robust implementation of AES128 encryption. Connection Content can only be played or streamed after the street date (and never copied or moved) as managed by secure Genie server.

4.1.1. provide geographic location information based on DNS registrations, WHOIS databases and Internet subnet mapping.
4.1.2. provide geolocation bypass detection technology designed to detect IP addresses located in the Territory, but being used by Registered Users outside the Territory.
4.1.3. use such geolocation bypass detection technology to detect known web proxies, DNS based proxies, anonymizing services and VPNs which have been created for the primary intent of bypassing geo-restrictions.
4.2. Licensee shall use such information about Registered User IP addresses as provided by the industry standard geolocation service to prevent access to Included Programs, via the SVOD Service, from Registered Users outside the Territory.
4.3. Both geolocation data and geolocation bypass data must be updated no less frequently than every two (2) weeks.
4.4. Licensee agrees to periodically review geofiltering tactics during the Term of this Agreement.
4.5. Licensor acknowledges that Internet Protocol (IP) based geolocation and geofiltering technologies may in some cases be circumvented by highly proficient and determined individuals or organizations.
