Head Cook when an Assistant Cook or Kitchen Help fill a Head Cook position, he/she will be placed at the 1 Year pay cell of the Head Cook.
Head Cook. In addition to the rates of pay set forth in this section, the individuals assigned as head cook shall be paid an additional $400 per year for assignment as head cook. 1709 Longevity Bargaining unit members who become eligible for longevity pay during their contract year shall begin receiving the increase in the first full pay period at the beginning of their qualifying year. The longevity benefit is $125.00 at the beginning of ten (10) years of service, $300.00 at the beginning of fifteen (15) years of service and $500.00 at the beginning of twenty (20) years of service. Longevity bonuses will be paid in the regular payroll check during the first pay period in December each year. A percentage of longevity will be forfeited with voluntary or involuntarily termination of employment. Voluntary or involuntarily does not include retirement, reduction of force, disability, death, etc.

Head Cook. Food service employee who is in charge of a particular kitchen and is responsible to the Food Service Director.
Head Cook. An employee in this position is paid an extra $2.00 per hour for the first kitchen he/she is in charge of and $1.00 per hour for each additional kitchen. These monies are in addition to his/her hourly rate. Head Cook. Seven (7) hours per day, or as required, with a work year of the students’ calendar, plus eight (8) holidays. One five (5) hour day scheduled prior to the start of school to set up cafeteria.

Head Cook. 31.01 Head cooks who work a six-hour shift or more shall be entitled to two ten (10) minute rest periods. These rest periods shall not conflict with the employee’s work schedule, and shall be approved by the employee’s building principal. This provision is subject to Section 1.04.B.
31.02 Head cooks working five (5) consecutive hours or more shall have a total of thirty (30) minutes of paid lunch time daily, subject to interruption for the performance of needed duties. This provision is subject to Section 1.04.C.
31.03 Head cooks will wear district-issued uniforms (tops and bottoms) during their shift. Uniforms will be furnished by the District.
31.04 Head cooks will work under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor.
Head Cook. There will be a Head Cook position with a premium of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour above the Cook 1 rate.
