Additional Stipends. Paid Through Funds Appropriate to Individual Schools Unit members providing service under this funding shall be paid an additional stipend. The task to be compensated shall be designated by the Principal of the school where the unit member is employed. Xxxxxxxx shall be established and posted at the beginning of the school year prior to the appointment of the unit member who is to receive the stipend. Additional duties shall be compensated by a stipend if they are performed in addition to the regular teaching assignment.
Additional Stipends. Additional stipends must be negotiated with CSEA and when agreed upon by both parties, shall be appended to the salary schedule in Appendix A. (The Cook Manager annual stipend has been added to Appendix A.

Additional Stipends. In addition to any other stipends contained in this agreement, any employee who receives and maintains certification in the following categories shall receive the following stipends. These stipends shall be regarded as pensionable income and subject to retirement deductions as well as income tax. The stipends shall be paid once annually, in July or August, based upon an employee’s eligibility. There will be a limit of two stipends per employee; one of which will be in the OSHA category, and one that will be in the job specific category. Employees who take and pass the OSHA 10 class, and who obtain and maintain American Red Cross certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) will receive an annual stipend of $350. Effective July 1, 2018, the amount will be $375. Effective July 1, 2019, the amount will be $400. Classes for both OSHA 10 and CPR will be taken on the employee’s time. Employees who receive an OSHA 30 certification shall receive a $400 annual stipend, good for five years after certification. In order to maintain the stipend after that time the employee will have to retake the training. Effective July 1, 2018 the stipend shall increase to $450. Effective July 1, 2019 the stipend shall increase to $475. Persons who qualify based upon prerequisite examination and certification as a Certified Building Official (CBO) or Registered Sanitarian will receive a $1600 per annum stipend, payable the 4th week in July, and prorated for the first year of qualification. Classes are to be taken on the employee's time. Classes for maintaining on-going certification in the employee's primary field may be taken during regular work hours; classes in the other (or secondary) field shall be taken on the employee's time. The City reserves the right to assign dually-qualified employees to Inspection/Sanitation work as appropriate, and at the City's discretion. Additional Stipends. Employees with a special designation within their classification shall receive an additional hourly stipend for that designation as described below. These stipends shall not be included in the computation of an employee’s hourly rate for the purposes of determining if the employee has met the hourly rate cap as outlined in Section 9.3.

For any employee covered under an Agreement between the City and IBEW Local 702 who assumes the duties of Emergency Management Director, they shall have their normal wage rate so adjusted by two hundred dollars per month ($200.00/month). For any employee covered under an Agreement between the City and IBEW Local 702 who assumes the duties of Code Enforcement and/or Building Inspector, they shall have their normal wage rate so adjusted by one hundred fifty dollars per month ($150.00/month) for each position. Any employee not covered by this Agreement, who is not covered under an Agreement between the City and IBEW Local 702, who is appointed to either the Emergency Management Director, the Code Enforcement and/or Building Inspector, they shall be compensated in accordance with the appropriate and applicable City Ordinance.
