Higher Grade Duty. (i) An employee who is called upon to relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which they act the minimum payment for such higher classification.

Higher Grade Duty. (i) Subject to subclauses (ii), (iii) and (iv) of this clause, an employee who is called upon to relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification, shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which he/she so acts the minimum payment for such higher classification.
