Higher Grade Duty. (i) An employee who is called upon to relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which they act the minimum payment for such higher classification.
Higher Grade Duty. 16.1. An Employee who is called upon to relieve an Employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which they act the minimum payment for such higher classification.
Higher Grade Duty. (i) An employee who is called upon to relieve and does relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act and does act in a vacant position of a higher classification for a continuous period of at least three working days shall be entitled to receive for the period of such relief or acting, the minimum payment for such higher classification. The employer shall not rotate the performance of higher grade duty so as to avoid payment for performance of the higher grade duty in this manner.
Higher Grade Duty. (i) A Nurse Caregiver who is called upon to relieve a Nurse Caregiver in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification shall be entitled to receive, for the period of relief or the period during which they act, the minimum payment for such higher classification.

(i) Subject to subclauses (ii), (iii) and (iv) of this clause, an employee who is called upon to relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification, shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which he/she so acts the minimum payment for such higher classification.

(i) An employee who is called upon by HammondCare to relieve and does relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act and does act in a vacant position of a higher classification for a continuous period of at least five working days shall be entitled to receive for the period of such relief or acting, the minimum payment for such higher classification. HammondCare shall not rotate the performance of higher grade duty so as to avoid payment for performance of the higher grade duty in this manner.
Higher Grade Duty. An Employee who is called upon to relieve an Employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which they act the minimum payment for such higher classification. The provisions of subclause (i) shall not apply where the Employee being relieved is absent from duty for a period of three consecutive working days or less which have been rostered in advance, except where the duties of the higher position involve being in charge of the facility during the period in question. Further, the provisions of subclause (i) shall not apply where a Director of Nursing is absent from duty for a period of three working days or less for any reason other than Clause 14, Hours of Work and Free Time of Directors of Nursing.
Higher Grade Duty. (a) A Nurse who is called upon to relieve a Nurse in a higher classification, or who is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification, will receive the minimum payment corresponding to that higher classification for the period of relief or the period during which they fill the vacant position.
Higher Grade Duty. 26.1 An employee engaged in any duties carrying a higher wage rate than the classification in which they are ordinarily employed in any one day or shift will be paid at the higher wage rate for:
Higher Grade Duty. (a) Higher grade duty applies only when an Employee is required to act in the role of a Manager. Further, this will not happen automatically and must be agreed upon in writing prior to the relieving period by the Employer and Employee who is requested to relieve in the Management role.
