Director of Nursing. (i) There shall be established a position of Director Of Nursing. Provided that this position may be filled by a registered nurse appointed to a combined position of Director of Nursing and Executive Officer.
(ii) An employee who relieves in the position of Director of Nursing shall be paid at the higher rate for such period.
(iii) The Director of Nursing position is graded at the equivalent of Nurse Manager Grade 5 under the Award and shall be paid not less than the amount set out for the classification in Schedule A.
Director of Nursing. Within fifteen (15) calendar days after the occurrence, or knowledge of the occurrence, situation condition or action giving rise to the alleged grievance, the nurse may, with or without an Association representative, present his/her grievance, in writing, signed and dated, to the Director of Nursing or his/her designee. The grievance shall identify the provision(s) for the contract that allegedly have been violated, describe the relevant facts giving rise to the grievance and state the resolution requested by the nurse. The Director of Nursing or his/her designee shall sign that he/she has received the grievance and respond to the grievance, in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days.
Director of Nursing. 33.1 The Employer will appoint a Director of Nursing (howsoever titled) at each facility to 1 EFT (which may include job share).
33.2 A person appointed under subclause 33.1 must be a Registered Nurse whose name appears in the Register of the NMBA.
33.3 If the Director of Nursing is absent for more than five days, the Employer will appoint a person acting as Director of Nursing.
Director of Nursing. 7.14.1 Under the direction of the appropriate Educational Administrator, the responsibilities of the Director of Nursing shall include, or be reasonably related to the following:
7.14.1.1 Maintain familiarity with the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technician Examiners, Nevada State Board of Nursing and Department of Health Services rules and regulations.
7.14.1.2 Coordinate recruiting, hiring, orienting, and evaluating of Nursing faculty.
7.14.1.3 Conduct ongoing program review and tabulate and organize program review data for the Board of Vocational Nursing.
7.14.1. 4 Assist with Staff development for Nursing faculty.
Director of Nursing. Despite any other provisions of this Agreement, the Employer must employ a full time Director of Nursing at each of the hospitals the Employer operates in Victoria. To avoid doubt, the Director of Nursing may also be appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at each of the hospitals the employer operates in Victoria.
Director of Nursing. Director of Nursing means a Registered Nurse appointed as the principal nursing executive officer, however styled, responsible for the overall managerial, professional, clinical and regulatory inspects of the nursing service (notwithstanding that a Residential Aged Care Facility Clinical Care Coordinator might also be appointed) and who performs duties which may include, but are not confined to:
(a) an additional 0.24% of the minimum base weekly salary per bed for each approved bed to 50 beds; plus
(b) an additional 0.12% of the minimum base weekly salary per bed for each approved bed from 51 to 100 beds; plus
(c) an additional 0.05% of the minimum base weekly salary per bed for each approved bed above 100 beds. The above amount shall be treated for all purposes as part of ordinary salary for each classification. (Note: The calculation of the above approved bed weighting shall be made to the nearest 10 cents, any amount in the result not exceeding 5 cents to be disregarded).
Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing is responsible for monitoring the health and wellness of the Residents with respect to overseeing health, nutrition and dietary needs, activities of daily living, medication supervision, and assessing safety concerns of the Residents. The Director of Nursing’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the overall well-being of the Residents; the supervision and training of Certified Nursing Assistants; communication with all Resident support services, physicians, health care agencies and families; quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The Director of Nursing will work directly on the Resident care floor providing supervision and direction to all Certified Nursing Assistants. NBOC, Inc./AL nurses do not provide directly nor supervise skilled nursing services (e.g. injections, sterile dressing changes, tube feedings, continuous oxygen, catheters, or physical therapy) although such services may be arranged through a qualified third party provider in accordance with the policies set forth in the Resident Handbook.
Director of Nursing. The Hospital has a full time Senior Nurse Professional position paid at the Director of Nursing level.
Director of Nursing. Xxxxxxxx
x. The full-time teaching load shall be an assignment consisting of twenty (20) equated hours of classroom instruction and ten (10) contact hours of administrative release time.
b. The 10 contact hours of administrative release time will provide time to accomplish tasks associated with their respective program, as outlined within the position job description.
c. Classroom teaching or administrative release time in excess of the above load would constitute overload. Additional administrative hours require pre-approval of the Xxxx of Health Sciences.
d. The Director of Nursing – Xxxxxxxx will make time during summer or semester breaks to complete on campus tasks directly related to the success of their respective programs (i.e. recruitment, orientation, criminal background checks, etc.). This time commitment is included in the 10 contact hours of administrative release time outlined in 4.b. above.
e. This position will report directly to the Xxxx of Health Sciences.
