Horizontal Progression. A. Units earned in preparation for advancement on the salary schedule from one column to another must be from an accredited college or university and must be of upper division or graduate level. B. All course units accepted for advancement on the salary schedule must have the prior approval of the District. C. Acceptance of units for advancement on the salary schedule shall be based on the following guidelines: (1) Subjects are within the unit member’s subject/grade area. (2) Subjects lead toward credential usable within the District. (3) Enrichment subjects relate to the unit member’s assignment. (4) Subjects relate to areas for future personnel needs of the school. Credits will be given only for units that were successfully completed with at least a grade of “C” or “Pass.” D. When a unit member furnishes evidence of his/her qualifications for column advancement on the salary schedule, his/her advancement shall be accomplished when the official data is submitted to the Human Resources Office thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the next pay period. At the District’s discretion, credits may be earned for successfully completed training/workshops that are related to the unit member’s present or demonstrably possible future assignment and occur outside the regular paid workday. Fifteen (15) hours of training or workshop time will equal one (1) semester hour. Not more than one (1) semester credit can be acquired in any one (1) weekend workshop/in-service. E. Units earned prior to the Bachelor’s Degree cannot be used to advance from one column to another on the salary schedule. F. Units earned prior to the Master’s Degree cannot be used to advance from one column to another after any column requiring a Master’s Degree..

Horizontal Progression. Horizontal progression is achieved only through the earning of graduate credit in administratively approved courses. The approval of coursework is described in Section D. Experience other than graduate work is not acceptable for this advancement. Horizontal Progression shall be adjusted on an annual basis. Such progression as a result of additional training shall be certified to the Superintendent (or designee) by or before September 1st. A grade report or statement from the instructor may be used for temporary approval, but an official transcript must be submitted for verification. In order for a graduate course to be eligible for movement beyond a degree, the start date for the course must be subsequent to the completion date of the earned degree. Dates on transcripts will be used for verification. This credit is to be in a teaching field related to the assignment of the teacher or for a new field of study in education, and must be approved in advance by the Administration on the appropriate form. a. In years through 2019-20, for semester hours of graduate credit earned, a teacher becomes eligible for the salary level listed in the appropriate column on the salary schedule. b. In a year after 2019-20, for semester hours of graduate credit earned, a teacher will receive an additional percentage increase in pay. This additional percentage is applied after application of the increase in Paragraph VII.A. 1. The amount of the increase shall be as follows: BA+15 MA or BA+36 3.25% 9.65% MA+15 MA+30 MA+45 3.25% 3.25% 3.25%

  • Incremental Progression Three (3) Year Trained Teacher - Professional Development (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 7.1.4 (f), a 3 year trained teacher may apply for progression by annual increments from Proficient 4 to 8 subject to the following conditions: (i) completion of at least twelve (12) months service on Proficient 4; (ii) participation in one hundred and fifty (150) hours of accredited professional development activities to be achieved at an annual average rate of not less than thirty (30) hours (five (5) days) and to be undertaken outside the hours engaged in teaching; and (iii) provision of a statement outlining the knowledge and skills acquired through participation in professional development. (b) Applications for progression identified in paragraph 7.1.6 (a) shall be made through the principal of the school and be subject to assessment and recommendation to the school authority by a panel consisting of: (i) a representative of the school authority; (ii) a representative of the teacher seeking progression; (iii) a representative jointly agreed to. (c) Applications for progression identified in paragraph 7.1.6 (a) shall include: (i) certification of participation in accredited professional development activities by activity providers; and (ii) a brief statement on a standard agreed, outlining the additional knowledge and skills acquired and their application in the teacher's work. (d) No teacher shall be required to undergo classroom or other inspection for the purposes of certification. (e) The review panel identified in paragraph 7.1.6 (b) shall make a recommendation to the employing authority as to whether in its opinion the teacher has satisfied the eligibility criteria in clause 7.1.6 (a). (f) A teacher who is assessed by the review panel as having satisfied the requirements contained in clause 7.1.6 (a) shall be entitled to progress to the next incremental pay step (Proficient 4 to 8 as appropriate) effective from their date of application or on the completion of twelve (12) months' service on their current incremental step (whichever is the later).

  • Progression For progression for all classifications under this agreement, refer to Schedules A to D.

  • Wage Progression Employees within their position classification will progress from the “start rate” to the “one year rate” and so on, on the basis of 1,800 hours worked at the “start rate” to the “one year rate” and so on. Hours worked and paid for, including hours paid during the probationary period (450) hours, and hours not worked and paid for by the WSIB shall be considered hours worked for the purposes of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within their position classification.

  • Study An application for leave of absence for professional study must be supported by a written statement indicating what study or research is to be undertaken, or, if applicable, what subjects are to be studied and at what institutions.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 4.1.1 The Power Producer shall give at least fifteen (15) days written notice to the SLDC / ALDC / DISCOM as the case may be, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System. 4.1.2 Subject to Article 4.1.1, the Power Project may be synchronized by the Power Producer to the Grid System when it meets all the connection conditions prescribed in the Grid Code and otherwise meets all other Indian legal requirements for synchronization to the Grid System. 4.1.3 The synchronization equipment and all necessary arrangements / equipment including Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for scheduling of power generated from the Project and transmission of data to the concerned authority as per applicable regulation shall be installed by the Power Producer at its generation facility of the Power Project at its own cost. The Power Producer shall synchronize its system with the Grid System only after the approval of GETCO / SLDC / ALDC and GEDA. 4.1.4 The Power Producer shall immediately after each synchronization / tripping of generator, inform the sub-station of the Grid System to which the Power Project is electrically connected in accordance with applicable Grid Code. 4.1.5 The Power Producer shall commission the Project within SCOD. 4.1.6 The Power Producer shall be required to obtain Developer and/ or Transfer Permission, Key Plan drawing etc, if required, from GEDA. In cases of conversion of land from Agricultural to Non-Agriculture, the commissioning shall be taken up by GEDA only upon submission of N.A. permission by the Power Producer. 4.1.7 The Power Producer shall be required to follow the Forecasting and Scheduling procedures as per the Regulations issued by Hon’ble GERC from time to time. It is to clarify that in terms of GERC (Forecasting, Scheduling, Deviation Settlement and Related Matters of Solar and Wind Generation Sources) Regulations, 2019 the procedures for Forecasting, Scheduling & Deviation Settlment are applicable to all solar generators having combined installed capacity above 1 MW connected to the State Grid / Substation including those connected via pooling stations.

  • Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards. 2. When setting performance expectations and development objective(s) with individual teachers for the coming year, the appropriate professional standards against which the teacher is to be assessed should be confirmed between the teacher and the employer. 3. For each teacher to progress annually to their next salary step they will need to demonstrate that they meet the appropriate professional standards.
