Leave Information. The College will apprise faculty members of accrued sick leave hours by way of Workday. The College will furnish explanatory information at any time upon request, allowing a reasonable amount of time for response.
Leave Information. The Administration shall provide written information on accumulated vacation leave and sick leave to each employee.
Leave Information. The District will create a comprehensive list of all available employee leaves, including expanded Workers Compensation coverage under the Washington State Emergency Labor Standards Act (HELSA), detailing each leave’s eligibility requirements and make it available on the internal Human Resources site.
Leave Information. 1. All leave is to be entered electronically by the employee. Leaves shall be taken in half day or full day increments.
2. Any request for leaves not covered in this agreement will be referred to the Superintendent for his/her individual consideration.
Leave Information. Nurses seeking information about leave programs and their eligibility should contact Human Resources. When contacted, Human Resources will provide information about eligibility requirements for leaves and other benefits administered by Overlake, including contact information for benefits vendors (examples are short- term disability and long-term disability), and applicable state programs (examples are · ' worker's compensation and paid family and medical leave). Human Resources will make every reasonable effort to provide this information to the nurse within five (5) business days.

Information concerning the use of Sick Leave, Parental Leave and FMLA, in cases of pregnancy and adoption, is also available on the District's website, in the form of "Frequently Asked Questions".
Leave Information. 1. Leave Time Each site coordinator and assistant project directors will receive 64 hours of leave time for the 2019/2020 school year. Leave balances do not carry over from one year to the next. Leave can be used for the following reasons: • Personal or Family illness. The district reserves the right to require satisfactory proof of the employee’s illness or injury. • An employee may request to use leave time to cover absences for pre- scheduled health, dental, vision or other appointments with prior approval from the Project Director. Requests should be made no less than 5 work days in advance of the absence. • The District reserves the right to require satisfactory proof of the appointment. • A doctor’s note is required any time an absence exceeds three (3) consecutive days.
2. Effective July 1, 2020 SC's will receive 6 sick days instead of 64 leave hours. Unused sick time as of June 30th, be carried over to the following year.
3. Beginning July 1, 2020 SC's will receive 10 vacation days. Vacation days must be used during non program time (ex. Christmas or spring break). Consideration may be given for unique or once in a lifetime opportunities with approval from Human Resources. Unused vacation time as of June 30th will be paid out on the last pay date in June.
Leave Information. 13.1 Sick leave shall be granted to ATIP members at the rate of twelve (12) days per year with accumulation up to one hundred eighty (180) days or the number of days worked in the employee’s work year, whichever is greater. Said leave shall be granted with no deduction in salary. Employees shall be entitled to use sick leave to care for a sick family member in accordance with the WA Family Care Act. The use of sick leave, pursuant to the term "emergency" in RCW 28A.58.100 shall be granted in the event of illness or injury of a member of the employee's immediate family, when the presence of the employee is required. Accumulated sick leave shall be transferable into the District from any other school district in the State of Washington.
13.1.1 Employees are allowed to cash in unused sick leave days above an accumulation of sixty (60) days at a ratio of one full day of monetary compensation for four (4) accumulated sick leave days. At the employee's option, they can request a cash-out of their unused sick leave days to be paid in February of the school year following any year in which a minimum of sixty (60) days of sick leave is accrued and each January thereafter at a rate equal to one day's monetary compensation of the employee for each four (4) full days of accrued sick leave. The employee's sick leave accumulation shall be reduced four (4) days for each day compensated.
13.2 The District will follow state and federal laws pertaining to family leave.
Leave Information. Employees are eligible for paid and unpaid leaves of absence as provided by law. Significant leaves of absence are summarized in this paragraph. The non-discretionary leaves of absence listed in this Article are authorized by California or Federal law. Any non-discretionary leave of absence based on a California or Federal statute that is not referenced in this Agreement is available to unit members as if fully set forth in this Article.
1. The criteria regarding an employee’s eligibility or qualification for any leave set forth in this Article shall be as set forth in the respective statutes except as modified herein.
2. The process for application and approval of leaves granted pursuant to this Article, including the requirement for acceptable verification, shall be consistent with prior processes.
3. Amendments to state or federal law that create new leaves of absence or that modify leaves in effect at the time this Agreement is ratified are incorporated as if fully set forth herein. Statutory and contractual leave rights will run concurrently to the extent allowed under federal and state law.
4. Except for the issues of whether a listed leave was improperly denied or the amount of leave time was incorrectly calculated, no grievance may be filed or maintained with regard to the listed leaves. EDUCATION CODE LEAVES - PAID
1. Regular Sick Leave: Twelve days of paid leave available for illness or injury, prorated on the basis of one day per assigned work month, with unlimited accumulation, or for pregnancy and childbirth (Education Code sections 45191 and 45193). Regular Sick Leave and Extended (below) may be utilized for maternity or paternity leave (Education Code section 45196.1)
