I DUTIES. The Superintendent is the chief executive of the District and shall faithfully perform the duties of the Superintendent of Schools for the District as prescribed in the job description and as may be assigned by the Board, and shall comply with all Board directives, state and federal law, district policy, rules, and regulations as they exist or may hereafter be amended.Specifically, it shall be the duty of the Superintendent to recommend for employment all professional employees of the District subject to the Board's xxxxxxxx.Xx shall be further duty of the Superintendent to employ all other personnel consistent with the Board's xxxxxxxx.Xx shall be the further duty of the Superintendent to direct, assign, reassign, and evaluate all of the employees of the District consistent with Board policies and federal and state xxx.Xx shall be the further duty of the Superintendent to organize, reorganize and arrange the staff of the District, and to develop and establish administrative regulations, rules, and procedures which the Superintendent deems necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the District consistent with the Board's lawful directives, the Board's policies, and state and federal law. It shall be the further duty of the Superintendent to accept all resignations of employees of the District consistent with the Board's policies, except the Superintendent's resignation, which must be accepted by the Board. The Superintendent shall perform the duties of the Superintendent of Schools for the District with reasonable care, diligence, skill, and expertise.

I DUTIES. The Superintendent is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District and educational leader of the District and shall administer the School District and shall faithfully perform the duties of the Superintendent for the District in accordance with Board Policies and as may be assigned by the Board, and shall comply with all lawful Board directives, state and federal law, District policy, rules, and regulations as they exist or may hereinafter be adopted or amended. Specifically, it shall be the duty of the Superintendent to: (a) Assume administrative responsibility and leadership for the planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of the education programs, services, and facilities of the District and for the annual performance appraisal of the District’s staff; (b) Assume administrative authority and responsibility for the assignment and evaluation of all personnel other than the Superintendent; (c) Oversee compliance with the standards for school facilities established by the Commissioner; (d) Select and manage the District’s personnel in accordance with applicable and District policy; (e) Manage the day-to-day operation of the District as its administrative manager, including implementing and monitoring plans, procedures, programs, and systems to achieve clearly defined and desired results in major areas of District operation; (f) Prepare and submit to the Board annually a proposed budget covering all estimated revenue and proposed expenditures of the District for each fiscal year and administer the budget; (g) Prepare recommendations and/or revisions for policies to be adopted by the Board and oversee the implementation and assist in the development of a strategic vision to be adopted by the Board for the district policies; (h) Develop or cause to be developed appropriate administrative regulations to implement policies adopted by the Board; (i) Provide leadership for the attainment and, if necessary, improvement of student performance in the District based on the indicators by the Texas Commissioner of Education or the Board of Directors; (j) Organize the District’s central administration;

Responsibilities under the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction: In addition to the responsibilities herein set forth, Consulting Engineer/Architect agrees to be responsible for those matters identified in the General Conditions as being responsibilities of the Consulting Engineer/Architect.   • Normal Duties (a) Faculty members are accountable for 10 months of the year. The 10 months accountable time includes such activities as teaching, the counselling of students, curriculum/program development, professional development and participation on a variety of educational committees. (b) At least one month before the commencement of any accountable time longer than four consecutive days, and covering activities other than teaching or professional development the faculty member will submit for approval to the appropriate administrator an activity plan for this period.   • No Duties Except as Specified in this Agreement or in Instructions. The Owner Trustee shall have no responsibility for filing any financing or continuation statement in any public office at any time or to otherwise perfect or maintain the perfection of any security interest or lien granted to it hereunder or to prepare or file any Securities and Exchange Commission filing for the Trust or to record this Agreement or any Basic Document. The Owner Trustee nevertheless agrees that it will, at its own cost and expense, promptly take all action as may be necessary to discharge any liens on any part of the Owner Trust Estate that result from actions by, or claims against, the Owner Trustee that are not related to the ownership or the administration of the Owner Trust Estate.
