In Lieu Time. 1. In-lieu time is paid or accumulated when a Bargaining Unit Member, during a preparation/work period, supervises another Member’s class for one period, as assigned by the administration, and when the unit member has begun rendering such service. At the time of rendering the service, a unit member may choose to accumulate in-lieu time, or to be paid at the in-lieu stipend rate.

In Lieu Time. An employee, covered by this Agreement, who is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, may request time off from their manager in recognition of significant additional time worked in excess of forty (40) hours a week, however, not on an hour-for-hour or other proportional basis. This time off shall be granted to the employee at the discretion of the manager, giving consideration to the operational needs of the department and shall be scheduled by mutual agreement of the employee and manager. This time off will be logged in the time reporting system as "In Lieu" time and will not accrue toward vacation pay, nor be deducted from vacation accruals.
In Lieu Time. In Lieu” time may be approved by the supervisor for employees under their jurisdiction for verified work in excess of their scheduled hours. “In Lieu” time should be taken within the pay period and may not be accumulated unless it is approved by the supervisors. Immediate supervisors are responsible for keeping “In Lieu” time to a minimum.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

No employee shall be required to take flex time off in order to avoid the payment of overtime or as a condition of continued employment.

  • Pacific Time If enabled by Platform, the Same Day ACH means that the transfer will be performed within one (1) business day. Any same day ACH transfer scheduled after the cut-off time will be treated as if it were scheduled as next day ACH transfer. In some circumstances, transactions may be delayed for risk or compliance reasons.

  • Central Time After all Parties have been notified, the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of this Section 2.1 shall apply.”

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Lunch Time The “duty free” lunch time for assistants will be the same length as the building lunch time for students provided that the lunch is no less than thirty (30) minutes in length.

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.

  • Break Time For daily work assignments of six or more hours, permanent and probationary employees (except bus drivers and bus aides) shall be entitled to one 15-minute break for each half of the work assignment. For work assignments of less than six hours, such employees shall be entitled to one 15-minute break. Employees who spend a majority of the workday working with a Video Display Terminal (VDT) shall be permitted to perform other job-related duties (i.e., work not involving use of a VDT) 10 continuous minutes out of each hour. Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.
