INCLEMENT WEATHER/SNOW DAYS. Inclement Weather days will be those days the VBISD is closed due to Inclement Weather as defined in the State School Aid Act. This means that the work year for Family Links educators will be reduced by one day for each Inclement Weather day up to six (6) days or equivalent hours of pupil instruction. Therefore, the work year will be 195 days including Inclement Weather days referenced in this section. The total pay for an employee will not change due to the use of these six (6) days or equivalent hours of pupil instruction. In other words, employees will be paid for these six (6) days or equivalent hours of pupil instruction as part of their total salary. INCLEMENT WEATHER/SNOW DAYS. On any working day that the Company does not operate due to inclement weather, and if First Student (Xxxxxxx Transit Ltd.) received a percentage of payment for that day, employees affected will receive the same percentage of their regular rate of pay. All drivers will be expected to start and clear their bus at least one (1) hour earlier {includes the fifteen (15) minute walk around} on the next operating day. Drivers must be aware that break down or delay on the operating day following a closure can seriously jeopardize customer service. Route Changes: You are to advise your Manager should your route increase or decrease in distance traveled or time required. Adjustments, if necessary may then be made to your pay.   • Inclement Weather 24.1 This Inclement Weather clause sets out the full rights, obligations and entitlements of the parties and establishes the conditions under which payment for periods of inclement weather shall be made.

  • Snow Days If an employee, after good faith efforts, is unable to report to work for their scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, and if a disaster due to weather is declared by the Governor (see Article 22), the employee, at the employee’s option, may take a day’s leave without pay or may utilize personal leave or a vacation day.

  • Weather User understands and agrees that during the term of this agreement, User will strictly adhere to the Weather Protocols set forth in the Grand Park Emergency Management Plan.   • Severe Weather An employee who is late for a scheduled shift during a severe weather day will be offered the opportunity to work his/her full regular schedule of hours if work is needed, without suffering any pay deductions taken from such employee’s regular scheduled work day providing such employee completes his/her shift. Severe weather days are days when weather hampers mass transit (e.g. buses and ferries) from transporting travelers to their destinations. If weather conditions are such that driving to work would be hazardous, roads are closed, or travel to work would result in extreme hardship, an employee may use his/her PTO time if unable to report for work. EIB is not available for severe weather days. Employees are required to provide notification as soon as practicable if they are going to be late or unable to report for work.

  • INCLEMENT CONDITIONS Section 1.

  • SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES Tenant and all other occupants of the premises will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the property, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts that interfere with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises. HOLD HARMLESS None of iTrip Vacations, Sea Oats Vacation Property Management, Inc. or the owner of the premises assume risk, responsibility or any liability for, and the Tenant hereby releases, waives, relinquishes and discharges iTrip Vacations, Sea Oats Vacation Property Management, Inc., the owner of the premises and all directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives of such parties from, any (i) loss, damage, illness, injury or exposure to COVID-19, other viruses or the flu to persons or their personal property that occurs during their stay on the premises; (ii) any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, internet service, electricity or plumbing or (iii) any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from or due to weather conditions, insects, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond their control. POOL & PATIO If the premises include a private or community pool (including hot tubs), then the Tenant hereby acknowledges that the premises they have reserved include a community pool and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the private or community pool (including hot tubs) and patio areas.

  • Act of God Days A. Scheduled days of student instruction which are not held because of conditions not within the control of school authorities, such as inclement weather, fires, epidemics, mechanical breakdowns, or health conditions (as defined by city, county, or state health authorities) will be rescheduled to ensure that there are a minimum number of days of student instruction as prescribed by Michigan law.
